Excerpt from A Me-ist to a We-ist , Author Dr Roger Kenworthy (Chapter 2, page 44)

Now, let’s look at the various methods we have at our finger tips to provide energy to our homes and how we can be Earth-friendly by implementing a few changes. We’ll be examining how solar power, geothermal energy, and wind power has made a huge difference in a number of countries across the world. First, there are many economic, environmental, and personal reasons to use solar energy for our daily energy needs. Solar energy can help reduce or eliminate your monthly electric bills and in roughly seven to eight years your initial investment is covered, from that point on for twenty or so years, you save money. Even if energy costs raise over the years, you are protected since solar panels need very little maintenance to remain at peak efficiency. In America, buyers are more willing to pay higher prices for properties that are solar powered and they sell quicker as well when compared to those without this form of energy (www.energysage.com). As we move towards renewable energy, we are less dependent upon foreign oil and other non-sustainable energy sources.

Solar equipped homes and businesses help to create jobs which ultimately, adds to the local economy. In 2014, it is estimated that over 6,000 businesses employ over 170,000 people in this sector and this produces approximately fifteen billion dollars in revenue (www.ucsusa.org). China appears to be committed to the use of solar power in their homes; governmental policies are geared to providing 110 million homes to heat their water with solar panels by 2020. And there are many states in America where over 10 per-cent of the homes and businesses are using solar energy for heating and cooling. It has been estimated that 38 per-cent of our problem emissions are from buildings; hence, just one building that is updated with solar power can save three to four tons of deadly greenhouse gases from entering our atmosphere every year…this is equivalent to planting 100 trees. It makes sense, doesn’t it? Solar power is a sustainable form of energy; it is reliable; the panels quietly produce energy; and often times there are tax benefits to switch over to solar power.

A Me-ist to a We-ist: How We Can Change the World One Person at a Time

Chapter Two

Be kind to the planet

Our Earth is populated with roughly 7.4 billion people as of August 2016, according to Wikipedia.com (World Population, https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population). By the year 2100, a United Nations report estimates that number will grow substantially to around 11.2 billion. The sheer numbers of our species will put even more stress upon our world’s environment, energy resources, and food supplies. While our future may appear bleak, there is also a source of hope when we change our attitude about being a Me-ist to become a We-ist. This can be a great moment in history as H.H. The Dalai Lama writes about our present circumstance, “This crisis in bringing us an opportunity to experience what few generations in history ever have the privilege of knowing: a generational mission; the exhilaration of a compelling moral purpose; a shared and unifying cause…to put aside pettiness and conflict…and the opportunity to rise” (George, 2009). Being kind to our planet is not just buying fuel efficient automobiles and riding bicycles; turning down our home’s nightly temperature and changing to more efficient light bulbs; or recycling and buying less manufactured goods. Author James George (2009) nicely sums up our present situation, “The real bottom line, then, is to see that we are in a spiritual crisis that is widely misperceived as an environmental or an economic or a social crisis.

Earth Mother is screaming for our help to help ourselves: we can invent all sorts of new electronic gadgets; create unlimited social sites to consume our time; and design countless video games to distract us from being who we are or why we are here on the planet. These material goods cannot and will not help our environment…we must create new thinking to manifest as new people, a world of more caring and compassionate people that are kind to our planet. The shift in our fundamental thoughts, words, and actions towards ourselves and, hence, to others, creates new behaviours and values that are helpful to our environment and to us. As we have a spiritual awakening, our hearts and souls are also changed from being a Me-ist to a We-ist. What an extraordinary life it would be. Does each one of us have to change at the same moment to impact the world around us? No. The teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff (1991) reflect his ideas about what it takes to make real change on our world, “two hundred conscious people, if they existed and if they found it necessary and legitimate, could change the whole life on earth.” Once We-ists begin to change to Me-ists, a new paradigm is formed and then the momentum from such an occurrence will carry us to a new and better world.

The idea behind becoming a We-ist when you are a Me-ist at the present moment is to shift your focus from your Self to others, and your attention can be centred upon a person, animal or the environment. Let’s consider what happens as you focus upon another individual. When you shift your focus, you can help others feel important, self-confident, and worthy of love, success, and happiness. What single word leaves the greatest impression upon others…their name. Every time you meet a new person be sure to remember and use their name, nothing else is sweeter to your ear than your own name. We can help others become more self-confident by following these few steps. If we are supportive and not critical of others, this simple act is conducive to building a person’s self-confidence. When we spend time with someone else, this is when we can reinforce what they do well and not what they don’t do so well. These are ways to refocus upon others and not focus upon your Self.

When you shift your focus upon the creatures that you encounter on a daily basis you help that stray dog or cat by supplying them with a loving home. Millions of people world-wide agree with your decision to have a pet; surely, we all cannot be wrong. Why? You win because research indicates that owning a dog, cat or other animal companion is beneficial psychologically and physiologically (Crain, 2013). First, when you have a pet you are more active and this aids in increasing your heart rate and boosts your energy. Since you are active, you have a greater chance of lowering your chances for obesity, lowering your blood pressure, and your cholesterol too. Second, having a pet increases your feeling of empathy, a positive reaction that is flooded with positive energy as you put their needs before yours, which increases your compassion. Third, your pet needs you to feed, exercise, and water them which increase your empathy. In turn, you feel needed; your dog is never ever judgmental of your actions. Last, petting your dog or cat releases huge doses of positive hormones, serotonin and oxytocin, throughout your system which reduces your cortisol (Niven, 2007). Do you want to become a We-ist? Adopt an animal… today.

When you shift your focus upon the Earth Mother you are helping her survive and therefore enabling your children, grand-children, and great-grand-children an opportunity to live a long healthy life upon our one and only terrestrial home. The focus of this chapter is how we can change from a Me-ist to a We-ist by being kind to our environment. Let’s start with the three R’s:  reduce, reuse, and recycle. It appears that the 3 R’s appeared on the first Earth Day in 1970, within the Environmental Handbook edited by Garrett De Bell and published by Ballentine/Friends of the Earth (www.urbanore.com). The 3 R’s are effective because they are simple imperatives, commands that leave an impression upon our minds to take action to do something positive for our environment. In the process, we benefit emotionally and spiritually from our selfless actions to save the world from pollution.

First, according to Rob at the Green Guide for Everyday Living, reduce “…is dubbed as the mother of all 3 R’s and it should be the first rule to consider when making any task at home.” For example, it is important to work upon reducing energy, materials, and electronic gadgets where you live. Making these simple choices to reduce the waste and consumption in your home is a big step to caring for the Earth and taking the focus off of you and onto something bigger and more important than yourself.

Next, pay particular attention to what you buy and why you buy it; this prudent decision helps our environment. It is easy to say reduce buying clothes, mobile phones, jewellery, shoes and so forth for many of us; however, this attitude swims directly against the current of our modern-day consumer driven world. The government measures economic success by how much we spend. The neighbourhood gauges you on the size of your house, the make of your car, and the price of your toys. The media, in its many forms, pushes the idea that more is better and you are worth more because you have more. This is not true wealth and happiness in life; it is spiritual and emotional poverty that occurs when you face unbridled shopping. What can you do? If you have a problem, acknowledge that you have the problem; don’t deny it exists. Many of us have real problems and issues when it comes to being able to reduce what we buy. The problem is maybe that you are a shopaholic; but don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed of this condition because you’re not alone…far from it. The well-known New York psychologist, Dr. April Lane Benson, estimates that over 18 million Americans are shopaholics. It’s a staggering number of people who suffer from this dilemma, and this is why Dr. Benson created Shopaholicnomore.com. If you think that you or a loved one has a shopping or spending issue, you can visit the site and download their free self-assessment questionnaire to discover if there is a reason for concern as well as what to do about it. This site and its useful information could change your life forever.

A Me-ist to a We-ist: How We Can Change the World One Person at a Time

Welcome to 2024 and I hope that everyone of my readers and subscribers have a healthy and prosperous 2024. This year, I’m going to do things differently than the past. If you are aware of this fact, I’ve authored over 20 books that are on Amazon and Amazon Kindle. My focus is self-help, motivational books that aspire readers to a higher level of consciousness, and hence, healthier, happier and more spiritual lives.

This month, I’ll feature “”A Me-ist to a We-ist: How We Can Change the World One Person at a Time “(2019). I’m especially proud of my work since the advice given is not just my opinion but is backed up by over 100 references from experts, scientists, and futurists.

How can my words help you in your life’s journey?

One reader included an unsolicited review about how the words affected his personal life: “A We-ist is concerned about things like peace, forgiveness, love, compassion, gratitude, humility, and spirituality. As we work on being a better person, this will naturally have an affect on the people around us. That’s how it compounds one person at a time. I have always been into continued learning and personal development. There are parts of the book that I particularly found to be motivating and inspirational.”

Let’s get started. If you want to purchase a paper or digital copy of We-ist, travel over to Amazon and place your order.

Chapter One

Don’t change the world, change your world

I’m not asking, pleading or demanding that you change all of humanity…that is too much responsibility for any man or woman to carry upon their shoulders. The weight would be thoroughly crushing, depressing, and debilitating. All I’m asking you to do is change the world within you, and as you change the world within you, you change the world around you, and as you change the world around you, you change the world around another person and then around another and then another. Your change cannot be contained. It doesn’t stop…it’s the power of momentum. It’s like a single snowflake that starts at the top of the mountain and as it careens down precipitous slopes, it adheres to other snowflakes and by the time they reach the bottom of the mountain, the unsuspecting valley is changed beyond description. That’s from a single snowflake; imagine what a single person could do if they are focused and commit to consistent action to change the world within them?

In today’s world, we all too often look around us to see loneliness, feel emptiness, speak of insecurity and insignificance. We believe we are onlookers and not participants of the world; we have become fragments of our Self, separated from joy, happiness, and purpose. It’s little wonder then that we turn to material goods where we horde things, and collect things to find what we feel is missing in our life. As you scramble for what you think you need and want to be whole in this life, you lose empathy and compassion for others. We can then justify exploitation and suppression in order to get what we want…our piece of the pie. As it occurs individually, it then spreads out as a pandemic illness throughout our world.

However, life is like a mirror; if you focus upon indifference, you live indifference; if you focus upon oppression, you live oppression; and if you focus upon conflict, you live conflict. In your mind and then in your neighbourhood you have indifference and even malevolence. We need to lose indifference and oppression. As children and teens, we needed to belong, to be reassured, and to be a member of a group that we identified with. As you aged, you lost that need and this created separation without because you created separation within. You don’t need a life-threatening illness or some other disaster to show you that changes have to be made and made in a hurry. Assume a new role in your life…now. It’s time to become a participant again, move past being an onlooker to achieve what you deserve in this life. A life that should be one filled with purpose and meaning and not indifference and oppression.

How does it start? It starts with the four-letter word we all dream about; the one word that ignites our soul and causes us to sing about it, cry over it, and chase after it for our entire seventy, eighty, or ninety years that we spend upon this planet, it is…LOVE. New babies need love; adolescents need love; geriatrics need love. The famous Armenian spiritual teacher and writer G. I. Gurdjieff (1991) expressed his views to us that “love is the foundation of everything.” Scovel-Shinn (1989), expressed her view by stating that “Loving your neighbor means not to limit your neighbor in word, thought or deed” and “Regard your neighbor as yourself.” In Tao Te Chung (13), we read “Love the world as your own self, then you can truly care for all things.” This is the ‘how’ to change your world and the world of those around you.

However, be mindful of love and its true meaning; it is not something you do, it is not something you say…it is something you are. It is something you are when the world conspires against you; it is something you are when the universe aligns with you; and it is something you are when you shouldn’t be. Love must be as natural as breathing and as the act of breathing is an unconscious reaction that sustains our life, love must be natural and must permeate every one of your trillion plus cells. If a scientist looked under a microscope at your cells to find love, it wouldn’t be possible to discern between the physical and spiritual aspects that make-up your cells. Your cells are love and your love is your cells. There is no separation of the two, they are one, and as one they guide you through life and determine how you act and react to your Self, to other members of our species, and to nature.

The major religions and philosophies of the ancient and modern world espouse the same universal wisdom; it is certainly not luck, fate, or chance that the principle tenet of each institution is clearly based upon, it is love…love for your Creator, love for your Self, love for your brothers and sisters, and nature. In our today’s world, many have little faith in what the religious teachings and their words have to offer us; hence, we assume the words are false; the words are an invention; the words are concocted by man to suppress man. It’s a shame that this feeling runs throughout our modern psyche; for a moment, put aside your disbelief and suspicion about the great ancient books and look at what they are saying to us. The words and stories contain wise words that help us live today as they helped those that lived yesterday. If you are a non-believer, cast religion aside for just a moment and see the message instead…you’ll be surprised how their message can change your life.

There you have it? Can you see the value for our species’ future by casting aside the Me-ist attitude and adopting a We-ist way of life? I do and my wish is that these few paragraphs help you in your personal journey to good health, financial wealth, and spiritual self.

I’d like to hear your response to the ideas found in “A Me-ist to a We-ist: How We Can Change the World One Person at a Time.”

A plan to read is a plan to succeed

Photo by Brittney Weng on Unsplash

Reading is empowerment of a soul

In an earlier session, we learned that reading is a means of empowerment which provides us with countless ideas to develop a successful attitude and a successful mind. I wonder how many readers sat down and created a plan and then acted upon their plan.

Buy a book…don’t borrow one or expect one for free

To the ones who bought their books and read them – congratulations, you must have experienced a new world of ideas that gave you strength, wisdom, and motivation to change your inner and ultimately, your outer world. How can you possible put a price upon what you gain from the written word? Since I strongly believe (as well as others) that reading is a critical step to success, here’s yet another opportunity for me to climb back onto the soap box and write about the virtues of reading.

Emotions lead to a sacred connection

The physical act of reading connects our inner self with our outer self and as a result, wondrous things manifest in this meeting between the two. As our eyes pour over the written text, our brain processes what we see and transfers those written words into emotions. We know that emotions are our sacred connection between the Source and our Self which guide creation in our lives. As such, these deep felt emotions are the impetus to change our thoughts and we then change our behaviors which then change our results.

Support your favorite author while you invest in your Self at the same time

I strongly encourage you to go out and buy the books written by your favorite authors rather than borrow them from a friend. Before you close your mind to this suggestion, consider what you are conveying to the universe when you borrow rather than buy that self-help book or novel. If you do not invest in your Self with your money, there is the perception that you are unable to do so. Hence, this is poverty thinking, thoughts of want, lack, and scarcity surround your decision and you can only receive more back of the same from our benevolent Creator. These thoughts are disempowering.

Does borrowing a book lead to empowerment or entitlement?

Now, think about the opposite for a moment. What is the difference between borrowing and buying that printed marvel? When you use your money to buy the books that will change your life, you do so with thoughts of abundance, joy, and gratitude which can only result in returning the same back into your life. These thoughts are empowering.

Buying a book is a WIN WIN situation

And as you invest in your future, you are providing compensation for the writer who wrote their ideas and experiences down to help you and others to have a better life. In this case, both win. And let’s not forget the physical presence of a hundred or a thousand books on your book shelve. You are quite literally surrounded by wisdom and experience that you cannot ever experience in many lives and they are all at your very fingertips.

Books shape our future and our friends

In the end, it is the people we meet and the books we read that shape our future. When we embrace the written word we receive lasting changes which create a new life of wonder and excitement. So, don’t wait to create, create your plan to read now.

Bad things happen to good people, however, in order to move forward, we need to re-channel our negative thoughts.

Photo by Karl Magnuson on Unsplash

Sometimes the road we’re on gets bumpy with roadblocks and potholes

As we travel along our journey, most will encounter rather rough times which can occur to ourselves, our family, our friends, or our colleagues. While we are not able to change the situation, we are able to control our reaction to the situation. With our thoughts, we can re-channel negatives into positives that are more beneficial to our mental and physical health in the long run.

Grief is part of the healing process

When we have a loved one die from disease, taken by a sudden accident, or other unexpected trauma, naturally, we experience a great deal of grief. This is expected and is part of the healing process and getting past the terrible things that can happen to us throughout our life. However, we must not let our grief take control of our life, keep us under its control, and prevent us from living a full and productive life.

We can accept what IS but we can’t change what WAS

Although we endure suffering and pain, we must accept what is since we cannot change what was.  Our inner resistance to the bad things that occur to us causes us more pain and we must realize that we cannot change the death of a loved one or the loss of a friend or colleague. Once we accept this fact, we can regain control of our thoughts, our feelings, and our life.

Accept grief for what it is and reject destructive coping activities

However, if we are unable to accept the grief that accompanies a tragic loss and bury our feelings in our subconscious mind, this can lead to a long list of coping mechanisms which are unhealthy and downright destructive. Being unable to cope, many have feelings of fear, anxiety and depression while others develop addictions to food, shopping, alcohol, and drugs. These choices are not good choices.

Re-channel negative thoughts, words, and actions with positive thoughts, words, and actions

How do we then take a negative situation and put a positive spin on it? We need to re-channel our negative thoughts and actions into positive thoughts and actions. If we have a loved one die from cancer, in order to re-channel we can volunteer are at a nearby cancer center and help those who are suffering from this terrible disease.

Forgive those who have done you wrong

Or having been betrayed by a loved one, in order to re-channel after the initial shock and disbelief, you can immediately forgive that person and see only good things happening to them in their present and future.

Regain what was lost times 10…you’ll be healthier and happier in mind, body and spirit

A close friend borrows a large sum of money and never repays it, in order to re-channel you can forgive your friend right away and then vow to regain that amount of money, plus another 25%, within 60 days.

Re-channeling creates growth of the inner you, your forever spirit

Re-channeling your negatives into positives helps you grow spiritually which then results in a happier and more fulfilled life.

You are the sole reason why The Law of Attraction manifests what you want and you are the sole reason why The Law of Repulsion manifests what you don’t want

Photo by Alexander Schimmeck on Unsplash

Our attention has been drawn to the Law of Attraction

The collective consciousness has been raised by the release of a major motion picture which focused upon one of the Natural Laws that helps to keep our universe in an orderly state, namely, The Law of Attraction. The furor is about to be ignited once more as the sequel is due to hit the big screen in the near future. Even though we have been made aware of this natural phenomenon, there are questions and doubts about how to benefit from The Law of Attraction.

Natural Laws are exact and unerring, if not, our universe would cease to exist as it is

While this Law is exact and unerring since the beginning of time, amongst the Hollywood hype, many complain that The Law has not worked for them. They have witnessed the good that has manifested for those around them, however, the benefits seem to be reserved for others and not them.

Gurus sell you on attracting enormous wealth at the expense of your spiritual and physical wellbeing

As a result, they are adamant that the Law is a fabrication of personal development gurus to make money at the naïve public’s expense. For those who have not yet received what the universe wants them to receive…do not despair since The Law of Attraction is as precise as any mathematical formula and will deliver what dwells within your mind.

Our thoughts are energy that attract or repel what we desire

For those who disbelieve the presence of the Natural Laws and the influence they have upon a person’s present and future, it is clear that our situation has manifested from within. Our thoughts are things which are energy – energy that attracts like and repels unlike.

How can you attract positive gains when you are only thinking negative roadblocks?

If we are unwilling to let go of our negative feelings, this act results in a release of negative energy which in turn repels our goals. Hence, if we are filled with disbelief, fear, hate, and frustration, we must be sending out analogous vibrations and then attracting results that are in harmony with our vibrations. We cannot think one thing and receive another…this is incongruent with the Law. Furthermore, these negative feelings are the principle tenants of The Law of Repulsion.

Attraction and Repulsion are determined by your thoughts, actions and words

There is a fine line between The Law of Attraction and The Law of Repulsion and the separation between the two rests merely upon the thoughts and feelings harbored within your mind. The Law of Attraction is mired in positive thoughts and feelings of faith, belief, love, happiness, and courage which are the polar opposite of those thoughts and feelings that comprise the Law of Repulsion.

You are FULLY responsible for what occurs in your life

Take full responsibility that you are what you think you are and what you get is what you think you should get. Positive feelings will result in positive results while negative thoughts will produce negative results.  Harbor the positives within to enact The Law of Attraction and dispel the negatives to rid your Self of the Law of Repulsion.

Uncontrolled imagination manifests as limited possibilities – controlled imagination manifests as unlimited possibilities

Photo by Boys in Bristol Photography on Unsplash

Controlled imagination, not just imagination, unlocks unlimited possibilities

Imagination opens the door for possibilities and all we need to do is look back upon the dreamers of our times and earlier and this is apparent. For example, the vision of Henry Ford, the thoughts of Bill Gates, the imagination of George Lucas and there are many, many more great thinkers we can list to support this idea. However, a truly successful life manifests not merely from imagination, but from controlled imagination.

Uncontrolled imagination is akin to wild horses running through the grasslands of our country

Imagination is the key to success and we must rein-in our imagination to receive what is rightly ours from the benevolent Creator. One’s uncontrolled imagination can be compared to a wild horse running erratically throughout the grass lands. While this wild and beautiful spirit is wondrous to behold, it does little to help you advance to your goals.

Idol dreamers choose new goals like they change their socks, the results are then predictable

And if a person chases one goal this week and then another next week, that person is an idol dreamer and not a determined doer. Pursuing the flavor of the week can never make you successful. This must be the case since uncontrolled imagination does not allow the universe to catch-up with your ideas, with all the necessary pieces of the puzzle needed to achieve a goal before the ideas and goals change again.

The universe requires a certain lag time, based on universal laws, to provide what is necessary to achieve your goal

There is a lag time which is necessary and cannot be circumvented with money, fame, or charm. Uncontrolled imagination can only leave you frustrated and unhappy since you can never reach your true potential.

The fabric of your being can be changed trough controlled imagination

On the other hand, when you learn to possess controlled imagination, you have the ability to change the fabric of your destiny. You have the future in your very hands and the means to achieve what you desire. This idea correlates with the vision many experts hold of the holographic universe where we are not spectators, but creators.

Endless possibilities equal endless means to achieve your wants, dreams, and desires

Due to the malleable universe, we have the power to change what will be. In a universe where there are endless possibilities, you have the means to direct your own future. This future can be a fulfilling one or it can be a frustrating one, it all depends upon your ability to have a controlled imagination.

DEEP FAITH is the first step to accomplishing that whish you desire

The first step to having a controlled imagination is to have complete faith in the Creator: deep faith then manifests calmness and assuredness that you will succeed. This state of mind then permits you to access the power of the universe and when you are in control of your emotions, you are in control of your imagination. There are also daily exercises to gain, retain, and sustain control over your imagination.

Your controlled imagination unites with visualization to cerate your future

A proven method is visualization which helps you to sharpen your focus upon what you desire. Hold the thoughts of your goal in your mind and think from the future about your goal.

Meditation goes hand-in-hand with a controlled imagination

Another method to help, if you lack the ability to remain fixated upon your goal, is the practice of meditation. If you cannot commit many years of training to meditate effectively, many companies have CD’s that help to focus your mind and receive the most amount of benefit.

Your destiny is controlled by your ability to take charge of your imagination

Control your imagination – control your destiny. In a world that spins wildly and creates many diversions for success, you hold the key to your success.

Your reality is a result of your beliefs

As a enfant, we didn’t write our Life’s Manuscript

As we travel through life, we meet many different people and we have many different experiences. And, the collection of these occurrences are the sum total of our Life’s Manuscript.  Hence, every soul, every life is a story and we react according to what has been written within the pages of our book.

When young, the opinions of others entered into our Life’s Book

When we were growing up, we were both naïve and impressionable, as a result we allowed many people to write a myriad of truths and untruths within the blank pages of our book. Our families, friends, teachers, and a host of other acquaintances throughout our life’s journey took the liberty of imprinting their personal beliefs, whether right or wrong, within our pages. Naturally, we were too young to discern what was the truth about us and what was false about us.

As adults, we now suffer from the earlier writers who gave us our truths, our beliefs, and our self-worth

The problems that many people face in the present are the result of what was consciously and unconsciously written within the various chapters of their Life’s Manuscript in the past. As such, if a young child was told they were not intelligent, they are not intelligent; if a young person was told they were unworthy, they are unworthy; and if a young person was told that money was the root of evil and can only bring unhappiness, they are unhappy in mountains of debt. Sad to say, however, if they are unable to edit out the negative messages, they will remain the same in the future.

The negative messages from our youth can haunt us throughout our adult life

In the end, the paragraphs of your book, which are your beliefs, your unconscious and conscious reactions to the many things that you face in life, manifest as your realities. When a person is in an undesirable place in their life, for example, being in debt or a bad relationship, they want to change their reality. However, their beliefs, which were written long ago, hold them back from moving forward and out of their present situation.

How can we escape our “unpleasent present” from the entries made in our Life’s Manuscript when we were young?

A person struggles with change: they vow to never use their credit card to pay for some unwanted item or they promise never to date an uncaring person. Still, they just cannot change their present unpleasant situation.  It is no wonder then that these people, who are trapped by their beliefs and unable to cope with their realities, suffer from dysfunctional feelings such as fear, depression, and anxiety. Then they turn to drugs, alcohol, and other destructive habits to relieve their hurt.

Your Life’s Manuscript is account of your past and not who you are. You can rewrite what was written

You must realize that your Life’s Manuscript is not who you are, rather, it’s an account of what you have experienced. Like a wise copywriter who is responsible for the end product, you must take sole responsibility and edit out the falsehoods from the different chapters in your life that block personal and spiritual success. Make the effort to rewrite your beliefs and you will rewrite your realities.

Your results are an echo of the conversations you hold within your mind

Our life is a reflection of our thoughts

The results we have within our life are a reflection of the thoughts we have within our mind. Thus, every minute of every day we are manifesting the life we desire. And that desire may be the things we love or the things we fear. This must be so since we are creators in the holographic world which we live in.

Carefully monitor your thoughts

Within this world, there is no conscience as to what is good or bad, right or wrong, rather, the Source will deliver to you what you focus your subjective attention upon. As a result, we must carefully monitor the conversation we have with ourselves.

Everything exists at the same time in our holographic universe

One of the principle tenants of a holographic universe is that everything exists everywhere at the same instant. With this being the case, ask yourself…do I want a new car? This possibility exists within our holographic universe. However, it is not the only possibility; there is also the possibility that you will not get that new car.

Your constant mental conversations manifest in your physical world

Or, it may manifest, but not when you want it. It is all about the conversations that resonate within your conscious mind. It is your personal conversations with yourself that manifest what you want or what you fear.

Our mind is so much more than just matter

It has been said that the mind is not matter but rather pattern: therefore, our mind is not just some complex storage facility for all the experiences we have had in our life. In this age, it is popular to think of the hard drive of our personal computer as a metaphor for our brain. Hence, everything we have seen, said, or even tasted is logically and systematically stored and only waiting for our memory to relive our personal experiences.

Our mind consists of patterns that can be measured

On the contrary, it is much more since scientists have discovered that our mind consists of patterns which correspond to frequencies. This is clearly evident when we consider the results of electroencephalography (EEG) which measures and records electrical activity within our brain.

Like frequencies attract like frequencies; unlike frequencies repel unlike frequencies

We achieve what we believe in our minds since like frequencies attract like frequencies and unlike repel unlike. And it has been shown by modern-day science that each and every object, no matter how big or how small, is just frequency. These frequencies produce vibrations which we cannot see with the naked eye, thus, the solid objects we see around us are just an illusion.

We can control what frequencies inhabit our minds

This is where it gets really exciting: if we have love in our mind we register a certain frequency in our brain which then can only attract love into our life. When we have fear and hate, these emotions also have specific frequencies which can only attract the same. Now picture that new home, or expensive car, or good health…each object produces a different frequency in your mind, which ultimately, can only attract the same back to its place of origin.

We manifest what we create in our mind

You simply cannot escape the thoughts that swirl around in your mind. As they occupy your mind, you have intimate conversations with them, hence, they must manifest as a result of those talks. Be aware that you are either drawing your goal to you or pushing it away and in the end it is your choice.
