“Meditating for the mind is as important as exercising for the body.”

Meditation is our connection to the spiritual world.

For thousands of years, humankind has practiced the art of meditation. In earlier times, religion and meditation were inexorably joined and all the major world religions incorporated meditating as a means to connect with the One; a means to silence the physical world and experience the spiritual world; and a means to transcend the seen world and to reside within the unseen world.

A deeply, devoted state of thinking

And it was the monks, priests, and mendicants who mainly followed a meditative life within the confines of their monasteries and caves, thus, it appears that the conduit to the spiritual realm all too often excluded the general populace. Nowadays, there is no longer a barrier which prevents us from accessing and practicing this time honored tradition. While meditation and religious practices are still tightly entwined, most people out of the realm of organized religions who practice meditation are in reality practicing discursive thinking – a deep, devoted state of thinking.

Our mental state changes our physical body

Whether it’s achieving spiritual ecstasy or attaining physical enjoyment from regular meditation (or discursive thinking), the scientific community as a whole identifies that a change of mental state results in a change of physical state. A body of research indicates a litany of ills including anxiety, stress, pain, and depression are substantially reduced or completely eliminated by regular meditation sessions.

Our happiness increases with our meditation sessions

There is also evidence to support the lowering of blood pressure levels, improving sleeping patterns, strengthening immunity systems, and increasing general overall happiness. In fact, a number of studies have discovered that your overall Happiness Index number may increase by as much as 20% from regular meditation sessions.

Create a stronger connection between the Source and your Self

New Age scientists have hypothesized that habitually meditating creates a stronger connection between the practitioner and the Source which in turn releases blockages of energy which are at the heart of the many problems which we suffer from in this modern age.

You can have a healthier brain

Even though we have an extensive list of benefits from regular meditation, researchers have recently discovered other reasons to make this a regular routine in our busy and hectic lives. As we age, we naturally have a thinning of our frontal cortex. One study finds that regular meditation slows down the process and it also helps thicken this area of the brain when practiced over long periods of time. After years of being committed to this sacred act, we end up with a healthier brain.

Meditate to rewire your brain and increase awareness

A wide number of studies also discover that regular meditation sessions rewire our brain. It seems that the rewiring of the brain results in an increased awareness and focus upon the present moment. Most of us spend a great deal of our time, scientists estimate as high as 50% of the time wandering from idea to idea, hence, there is little focus.

A lack of focus can attract negative energy

As our thoughts race around in our minds, we most often than not are attracted to the negative aspects of our life; the bill that is owing, the car that needs fixing, the tooth that needs drilling. So, our lack of focus results in obsessing upon the negative which then places us in a negative state which then attracts more negativity to our lives.

Quiet the white noise

However, a wide range of studies have found that when we meditate, we quiet the white noise of the outside world and become less judgmental in our worldview. This change then manifests as a more relaxed attitude that is not obsessing upon the broken this or the unpaid that. It appears that the brain is able to respond to self-monitoring and retain and maintain focus and block-out worldly interference.

Science not speculation

This is not just speculation. A recent study discovered that meditating monks and praying nuns activated the areas of the brain that dealt with concentration and focus while they also deactivated the areas of the brain that controlled responses to worldly stimuli. Over time, the ability to control your focus upon the inner world and not upon the outer world is a direct result of the rewiring of the brain which is directly influenced by meditation.

Focus upon the purposeful not the superfluous

Meditation is more than just a few umm’s while sitting cross-legged on the floor with sweet smelling incense burning and exotic music playing in the background. Meditation results in significant health benefits that help us to live a long and productive life. It is our ability to control our thoughts and focus upon the meaningful things in life and not the superfluous which bring about true happiness and good health.

“Each and every one of us can benefit from the multiplicities of our Self found in the countless parallel universes we all inhabit.”

q75_amcgszu-jesse-sewellDo we exist within Parallel Universes?

Since time began, there have been mystics and prophets who envisioned that other universes existed parallel to the one we experience on a daily basis. These visionaries were held in the highest suspicion and were often alienated from society. The thought that countless mirror images of our universe, consisting of galaxies, planets, stars, human beings, and humans exactly like our Self, is the stuff that science fiction tales are made of.

It’s not sheer folly anymore

This might have remained as sheer folly in a writer’s mind until the new physics and quantum mechanics with the likes of Max Planck, John Wheeler, David Bohm, and Karl Pribram came along and helped to fill the gap between fact and fantasy. With the realization that different planes of reality exist alongside our own, we then have to ask the question How can I benefit, as well as humanity, from the multiplicities of my Self within these countless universes?

There are many roads we can travel

We can imagine the multitude of universes that exist alongside of ours as multiple roadways that lie beside, around, and ahead of us. The various roads that we can travel are the same as when we must make a decision in our life. For example, I have an opportunity to work abroad in a foreign country which I never have visited; I cannot speak the language, I am unfamiliar with its religious customs, and have never experienced their food. At the moment of decision to accept or decline this unique opportunity, we would all experience a wide number of what if situations.

What if situations?

What if I go and end up marrying a local? What if I go and create a new business opportunity that creates enormous wealth for my Self? In parallel universes, there is one of you who has married a local in that foreign country and there is one of you who has started a new business with a large income. You can see where these what if situations are taking us – and that is exciting!

Endless possibilities and probabilities exist at this moment

The what if possibilities and probabilities of what you have experienced in the countless parallel universes that exist alongside the one we now inhabit are endless. In one universe, you are an award winning author who just penned a revolutionary theory which explained the possibility of multiple universes existing at the same moment. In another, you are a renowned painter who has the art world astounded with your talent. In a third, you are an inventor who has registered thousands of patents which have helped humankind enjoy an easier life. In a fourth, you are a successful Internet marketer who inspires lasting changes in people from your products and services. And finally, you are a real estate investor who builds eco-friendly homes and commercial sites.

Changes are possible, if you know how

Parallel universes provide a unique opportunity for those who want to make tremendous changes in their lives. If you want to be a successful writer, a sought after artist, a famous inventor, a Internet guru marketer, or a real estate investor then it is simply connecting with your Self from another universe who is successful in that endeavor and then learning from that Self how to become what your true passion in life is.

Meditation connects you with your Self from a parallel universe

How can we connect with our successful alter-ego from a parallel universe? I suggest meditation. Many companies produce CD’s that instantly bring you to the correct state to connect with your Self. When in that deep meditative state, picture your Self on a highway with many roads ahead of you. There will be signs which contain your name and pictograms of what you desire to be an expert at: hence, Roger the author; Roger the painter; Roger the inventor; Roger the Internet guru; Roger the real estate investor. Pick the one that you want to learn from and walk down that road. You will see a person walking towards you, that person is your exact Self who is successful at the task you want to learn about. When face-to-face, ask how you can develop your talent to the level of your Self since this you from another universe is accomplished at that skill. Listen carefully and then do what has been passed along to you. When you have ended your meditation session, be sure to take the necessary action mentioned to you by your Self. Do not despair if you have difficulty meeting-up with your Self, it is a skill and takes time to reach the proper vibrational frequency to make that connection.

All possibilities exist at this moment…seek your own

A wide realm of possibilities exists at this exact moment from parallel universes. When you meet your Self, your successful Self from another level of existence, your life and the lives of those around you will be changed for the better.

“Have an obsession for spiritualism in your life to manifest materialism in your life.”

y0x7jh_up0s-edewaa-foster

Our spirituality connects us with the Source

We want to be successful and enjoy a life of good health and much material wealth. Still, this kind of thinking neglects to include our thoughts of spirituality which ultimately disconnects us from our most prized possession; it is our spirituality which is the conduit to the benevolent Source.

Spirituality comes first, then materialism second

However, we should not separate our spiritualism from our health or our materialism, and when we live our lives in this manner we manifest dis-ease, poverty, and an unfulfilled life. Rather than put our thoughts of materialism first, we should put our thoughts of spiritualism first to receive what the Source wants each and every one of us to manifest and enjoy on this plane of existence.

Is hard work the answer to success?

Many of us were raised with the belief that if we worked hard and saved our pennies for a rainy day, that one day in the future we would be successful. We would have a large sum of money, we would have a large home, and we would have a large amount of time to enjoy our material goods. No wonder so many of us are struggling to just make ends meet and not enjoying a plentiful life at the moment nor large sums of money, large homes, or large amounts of time to enjoy in our old age.

Working with the Natural Laws manifests success

Although wanting to help us through our life with their own experiences in their life, our parents’ and caregivers’ advice was very wrong. Rather than Work hard and save your pennies for a rainy day they should have been telling us to be spiritual and Work with the Natural Laws to be successful.

Our focus guarantees our results

It seems that the advice of saving our pennies for unforeseen maladies and unwanted poverty in our life is a guaranteed plan to manifest unforeseen maladies and unwanted poverty in our life. When we concentrate our attention and then our thoughts and actions upon those unforeseen maladies and unwanted poverty we can only manifest that which we fear the most.

Our thoughts create our reality

This is the Law since we attract that which we focus our thoughts upon. The universe does not discriminate between good and bad, it merely reacts as the Natural Laws dictate. Hence, you manifest what your vibrational field is in harmony with regardless if you perceive the results to be wanted or feared. Since we are harmonious with the fear of want and poverty, we must manifest want and poverty into our lives. We can never feel secure with our finances when we are in fear of our finances.

Feeling secure with life results in any form of  success

Rather than listening to the old adage about saving our pennies, we should listen to and act upon feeling secure with our finances and material goods long before we actually have achieved what we want to achieve. As such, we see the act of saving money and collecting material goods as neither good nor bad; it just is.

Perceive success at the spiritual level and you will receive it on the physical level

This kind of thinking then results in thoughts, actions, and words that support a strong connection between the Source and our Self. We feel security in the knowledge that we already have achieved our wants and desires on the spiritual plane and now it is merely a matter of cosmic timelessness when the physical goods will manifest on the physical plane. We can now feel secure with our finances when we are secure with our finances.

Reflection, meditation, and visualization form a bridge between the spiritual and the physical world

Ultimately, we can and should cohabitate in a spiritual and material world since these two cannot be separated. However, we must not confuse what is initially required to create, maintain, and sustain a means to connect both of these worlds. Your spiritual connection builds a powerful and long-standing bridge to your material world. While a toll must be paid in order to arrive on the other side, the small price you pay to reflect, meditate, and visualize your desires far outweighs the time spent on these sacred practices.

“The health you attain, maintain, and sustain is dependent upon the strength of your connection with the benevolent One.”

connection

Separation causes us great harm

We suffer physically, emotionally, and spiritually when we lose or weaken our most sacred connection; the connection to the benevolent Source. However, quantum physics helps us understand that when we change our focus we change our lives.

We are creators not spectators

We are responsible for what manifests in our lives and awareness of this fact brings change to our unpleasant present situation to a wonderful future; this is a cardinal rule of quantum physics.

Anxiety feasts upon our immune system

In the world we live in, we are witnessing immeasurable pressures which are threatening to tear the fabric of humanity apart. As this anxiety is leveled upon members of our society, it manifests attacks upon our immune systems which lead to a wide range of illnesses that ravage our bodies and minds alike.

Focus upon good health and not ill health

All too often, a sick person’s family, friends, and even medical doctors focus upon the illness which only gives the illness strength and fortifies the negative, unhealthy energy against the positive, healthy energy. For example, doctors commonly quote chances of survival from an illness and naturally, patients as well as those who surround the patient listen to the experts’ opinions and accept all prognostications.

Our bodies have natural defense systems in place

Still, our bodies and our minds cannot identify if a threat is real or imaginary. When we feed our minds and bodies messages of trepidation, consternation, and desperation the results are equal to the input; and when we feed our minds and bodies messages of calmness, happiness, and copiousness the results are equal to the input.

Input creates the same energy

However, there are no moral judgments made, our minds and bodies simply react accordingly to the input, whether real or unreal, since our physicality is inseparable from our spirituality. Rather than listening about the evils of sickness, we should be focusing upon the sacred connection that unites these two elements of our Self as a means to attain, maintain, and sustain wellness.

Healers connect the spiritual with the physical world

There are countless studies which have investigated healing and overwhelmingly, it appears that the results of these studies support what the ancients have been telling us all along; each and every one of us is connected by a sacred field or web of energy. At the heart of these various studies is that the healers, regardless if they represent organized religions, Eastern philosophies, or other traditional beliefs such as shamanism, connect the physical world with the spiritual world, the axis mundi, to visualize the ill person enjoying good health. The healer connects with the unwell person, achieves the same vibrational resonance, and resumes the blocked flow of energy which had caused the illness initially.

Our mind’s focus can heal our body

The results of these various studies clearly demonstrate that we are all connected to the identical field of energy and we are then able to heal and be healed by our minds and our focus. There is further proof in that the sacred connection can occur with the sick person in the same room or even more dramatically, from over far distances. Scientific research has proven that remote prayer has helped groups of AIDS patients and others with coronary dis-ease live longer lives.

There are alternatives to traditional medical practices

Once the medical community at large recognizes, accepts, and implements alternatives to the present forms of treatment now accepted by practitioners and patients alike, the sooner we can make huge leaps in correcting our unwell bodies and minds.

Make way for the ‘new medicine’

When this shift occurs, imagine how the ‘new medicine’ will be. The negatives that bombard us will be replaced by the positive. It will focus on reprogramming negative thoughts with positive thoughts; it will focus upon reprogramming negative beliefs with positive beliefs; and it will focus upon reprogramming negative actions with positive actions.

Prescriptions replaced with meditation

Rather than write yet another prescription for the latest wonder drug, medical doctors will write prescriptions to mediate daily, to read positive books, to talk about positive stories and experiences, to look at positive images, and to listen to positive news.

Your mind and body are one…and inseparable

Accept the notion that your mind and your body are inseparable, and as such, your mind controls your spiritual and physical Self. The amount of control you have over your Self is based solely upon the strength of your connection with the Source. Surround your Self with positive energy to live a healthy and happy life.

“Big goals do not manifest from small efforts.”

photo-1456694441711-af0ab2d64c96Become aware of the Natural Laws

Some would have you believe that achieving a tremendous goal in your life is accomplished by merely sitting back and waiting until everything that is required to achieve the goal aligns between and amongst themselves to then simply manifest before your eyes. While this sounds very compelling to those who lack awareness, it is less intriguing to those who are aware of the Natural Laws of the universe and furthermore, it is somewhat of a simplistic view of the true workings of the universe.

Harnessing the Natural Laws for success

Now, this is not to say that you must work hard and sacrifice your physical health and your spiritual Self to achieve a goal. Far from it, rather, manifesting your goal is about harnessing the Natural Laws to work for you as you work with the Laws. Thus, we witness a symbiotic relationship occurring with both parties benefiting from the interface of our goals with the benevolent Source instead of a one-sided relationship where we receive everything and contribute nothing to achieve what is offered freely from the Source.

Change your present to change your future

It is important to fully comprehend the process of goal achieving or we simply repeat what we have done in the past and naturally, since our attempts failed in the past then they certainly will fail again in the future if nothing changes. First, even though it may seem to be contradictory to common sense, you should plan big goals to achieve the success that you want to reach and the success that is freely provided by the Source.

Focus upon BIG goals, ones that you don’t know how to achieve

When you plan your goal, if you know how to achieve that goal at the moment that you set it, then it is far too small of a goal. You are clearly underachieving with this stratagem as you are freely admitting that your outer world is ruling your inner world. This is playing it safe, however, do not be afraid of setting tremendous goals; set them and have full confidence in the unerring laws of the universe to manifest your goals.

Why do you need to accomplish your goal?

Second, it is critical for success to focus upon the solution and not focus upon the problem. When approaching goal setting from a state of want, this will only keep the want in the present and future since you are in a state of lack and not in a state of abundance. Instead, it is key to wrap your mind around the idea of not only focusing upon what you want, but, why you need it. For example, rather than focus upon only the need to earn a specific monthly amount of money (the problem), focus upon your family enjoying a nice home or having an extended vacation at a very nice tropical setting (the solution).

Your focus determines your achievements

And there are other examples to apply which have you refocus upon the why and not only the want: you want to start you own business since you are afraid of being fired from your present job vs. you start you own business and enjoy more family time and your children can attend and graduate from a good college. With the proper focus, you are attracting the goal to you and not repelling it from you. And one last thing to consider, do not wait until you achieve your goal before you believe…believe it first in order to achieve it.

Faith and belief creates peace along your path to success

Third, once you have the faith and belief to set that tremendous goal, it is now imperative to relax, with meditation and visualization sessions, and wait until the means to achieve your goal is provided to you by the benevolent Source.

Listen to your inner voice

Take time to be still, to shut-out the noise around you and to get in touch with the deepest part of your Self. You will not be disappointed; however, you must be patient and not become anxious or nervous if the answer does not immediately become apparent to you.

Action follows after you discovered your plan

Still, once you have heard the plan how to achieve your goal from the Source, you must act upon it immediately. Take time to write-up a plan of action and then work at it and not half-heartedly. Even though the Source will provide the path to your goal, you must not sit by idly and wait until the goal comes to you, you must take the initiative to take those steps needed to achieve your final goal.

BIG thinking and action manifest results

At the end of the day, it is easy to understand that a big effort is no more than big thinking; it has been said that achieving a small goal takes just as much energy as it takes to achieve a big goal. The Source will provide all that is required to achieve what you can perceive, still, if you make a half-hearted effort the result will be far less than what you can achieve. Face your life with a think big attitude and you will be surprised where that road takes you.

“Be still within the turmoil of everyday life – how else can you achieve true success in life?”

clothesWhat is my place in the universe?

In our life, there is nothing more rewarding than the satisfaction of knowing our place in the universe, our reason for being here, and our connection with the Source. While being in a truly sacred place in life at the moment is the most gratifying and fulfilling for humankind, for most, this is an elusive goal. It is only when the noise of the outer world is blocked-out that we begin to experience the joy of the inner world.

Achieving your goal at any price

We live in a chaotic world where our purpose in life has morphed into How much can I get for myself? And without a single thought of the real cost to anyone or anybody, we run around grabbing at any means to achieve our goal with little regard of your goal. Companies design marketing programs which lead the masses to believe that they simply must have a particular product to be a somebody or a someone in the modern world.

Material goods do not make a person

However, it doesn’t stop there; this monstrous selling machine has no conscience as it grinds out every last penny of profit for greedy stockholders and owners from consumers. It is troubling to find that a person in today’s society is measured by the price of their purse, the status of their watch, and the public’s perception of their car. And sadly, if you or a loved one cannot pay for their vision of how to attain self-worth and happiness, you are a failure. As a result of their marketing muscle, we blindly buy into their ideas how to achieve true happiness and fulfillment in life.  It is no wonder that individuals and society in general suffer so greatly.

Meditation helps us move forward to spiritual satisfaction

It is time to break away from our modern day obsession with material goods as our only purpose and only goal in life. Rather than focus your full attention and energy upon your worldly Self; focus upon your inner Self where the true mansions of happiness and fulfillment exist. A good place to start this journey to override the need to have something or to be someone is to meditate on a regular basis.

Intuition is a true measurement of Self

Meditation has many psychological and physiological benefits and it is not just sitting cross-legged on the floor chanting and burning incense. Rely upon your intuition to decide upon your Self worth. Just as the Source created unique snowflakes; each and every one of us was created with a special purpose in life which runs deeper than what we own. Receive inner satisfaction from nature and the everyday experiences. While we can receive material goods in life, first, experience the sacred connection with the Source to quiet the noise around you and truly experience a meaningful and happy life.

Redefine your purpose in the universe

As we enter into a new millennium, it is time we open our eyes to the injustices of mass consumerism and redefine our place in the universe, our purpose, and our connection with the Source; this is the way to achieve and sustain true happiness and fulfillment in this earthly life.
