Create your life through dedication, discipline, and deadlines.

Success, in whatever form it takes for you, is not just wishful thinking

We buy a motivational book, hear a motivational speaker, or listen to a webinar and we come to the conclusion that with little or no effort on our part, except for wishful thinking, we can sit back and wait patiently for success to walk through our door. No wonder we have shattered dreams and broken lives.

Success is innate, but it still has to be ignited by your actions

Even though we harbour within ourselves the means to achieve an unimaginable level of success, we still need to take action to receive our end goal, and this is The Law.

Don’t just TRY to achieve your goals

It seems that many try to achieve their goals, but, they try until the next great idea comes along and then they try that one for a while and the cycle goes on and on. In the end, they just give up and believe that success is meant for everyone else except for them. However, when we try to reach our goals, we really are not giving it our all, it is just a half-hearted attempt and this lack of commitment keeps success just out of reach.

A simple, yet precise path for your success

Rather than just try to achieve our dreams, we need to follow this simple, yet effective formula to accomplish those lofty aspirations: dedication, discipline, and deadlines

Dedication is the STICKTIVITY in our lives

Dedication is making that extra effort when you tired, beat-down, and held-back from achieving your goals. Yet, we must endure even when things look the bleakest to accomplish what we want from life. It often happens that our greatest set-back prepares us for our greatest triumph. In order to be able to have sticktivity in our lives, it is important to make the right choice initially. This way, if there are some bumps upon the road to success, you still keep going around, under, or through those roadblocks.

Discipline is the deal breaker and deal maker

Discipline is doing what you need to do even though you may not want to do it. It is easy to get distracted in our techno world. Still, something must be done, anything, no matter how small each and every day to move you towards your goals. When we think about sales, it is not always the smoothest talker that achieves success, rather, it is the most disciplined who do certain things regularly that succeed in a big way.

Deadlines are the crucial yardstick for success

Deadlines keep us on track, so, they are a crucial yardstick for success. Still, if you let deadlines manifest negative emotions, you only drive success further away from you. Manage your deadlines and do not allow your deadlines to manage your emotions.

Attaining success is a easy as the three D’s

While we have to work at our goals, there are ways to be sure we keep on track when we are tired and up against it. As you pursue your lofty dreams in life, remember The Triple D’s and the impact they can have upon your achievements.

It’s the little things, done repeatedly, that carry us to our goals.

Each journey starts with a single step

There is a well-known Chinese saying which parallels our own personal success journey. Without a doubt, everyone has heard the wise words that A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.

This is the same story when you set your mind on a goal and then work towards it. It’s the seemingly small steps, or so to speak, the placing of one foot in front of the other over and over again which will carry you to your final destination.

Break your goal into smaller, more manageable pieces

A very large goal may seem overwhelming due to its size, although, we can rationalize that the goal becomes more manageable when we break it down into smaller tasks. The struggle then is not placing one foot in front of the other when the mood strikes us, rather, being consistent in taking those small steps towards our goal.

Your excitement carries your goal in it’s infancy

Naturally, the first days after you’ve set a goal are the easiest since you’re excited about achieving the end results which may include a new car, a larger house, or a new relationship. However; you haven’t been tested by life and the 1001 roadblocks that can come between you and your success. Just think back to your last New Year’s resolution: after the initial excitement wore off, most likely that goal was abandoned.

Decide upon what you “really” want to do-or-die achieve

There are a few steps that will help you develop the essential habits to accomplish your goals. Before you set out on your journey, the first step is to decide what you want to achieve. This step should not be taken lightly or with little thought since you may give-up after a few difficult steps into the journey.

What pain or fear are you attempting to overcome?

Equally as important, is why you want to achieve your goal? What pain or fear are you alleviating when you reach your goal? If the pain or fear isn’t great enough, your resolve may not be strong enough to keep you striving for what you desire and hence, your goal can slip through your fingers.

When? When are you going to systematically and regularly take action to achieve your goal?

The next step is to decide when to work on the goal. This is a critical step because when you make a commitment this helps you keep focused. Lastly, decide on how long to work on your goal. So, take out a timer, set it, and then work away until the time expires.

Your HABITS = Your SUCCESS

Achieving a goal is not about profundity, it gets back to tenacity…the smartest doesn’t always succeed, but the one who never gives up does. In the end, when you follow these few simple steps repeatedly, you soon realize that your HABITS = your SUCCESS, one step at a time.

Some people are living their life by choice while most are living their life by default

Is your life by choice or by default??

Choices are made by conscious effort or through unknown circumstances

We create our lives by our choices, some make conscious decisions of their choices while most let others or circumstances make their choices for them. The ones who take control of their own lives are the ones who achieve what is theirs by living the Natural Laws. The ones who put their future in the hands of others simply take what is given to them and seldom reach their true potential. They float along unconscious of their power and live a life of want, lack, or misery even though they have complete control over their future.

Fate or luck?

The reason most people suffer quietly through life and never get what they want is that they fail to make a decision to go after their dreams. They let fate or luck or others guide them without any effort or thought.  However, they miss the crucial point that their thinking brings about huge changes which ultimately, manifest their goals. Since thoughts are energy, either positive or negative depending on the nature of the thought, the key is we must change the energy within and around us by our thoughts.

Creators do not abandon their creative side

By our very nature, we are creators and when we abandon our creative side we suffer emotionally, physically, and materially. Emotionally we feel isolated and unloved, physically we suffer from sickness, and materially we face want and lack.  However, in the face of these sufferings, we have the innate quality to create our wants and they must manifest first in our inner world or the outer world suffers.

We are connected to the universe

We have all been there before, even though we never have been, those eerie feelings are not just our wild imaginings, they are our connection with the rest of the universe. So, we need to be able to consciously apply ourselves to the goal we want to achieve. We must not think of achieving our goal in the future, instead, we must work as though we have already accomplished our goal at this moment.

Our ability to observe our goal internally, manifests our goal externally

We must experience what it feels like in our mind before we have it in our hand. We do this by creating a powerful image of what we want, what it feels like, and what it will do for our family and ourselves. As such, you may liken yourself as an observer who experiences your wants prior to their existence. As a result, we manifest our goals by the mere observance. You cannot think that you will have something in the future and have it, instead you must make your future your present. These thoughts provide the means to achieve what you want.

Achieve success though your conscious decisions

Most are unaware that the Source holds their questions and their answers. We have the power and the knowledge to achieve our goals IF we make a conscious decision to do so. Simply access the means to achieve what you desire.

Perfect Clarity – it’s the missing link to success.

We need Perfect Clarity to achieve our goals

What’s missing on your pathway to success?

I have read many self-help books and listened to an equal number of CD’s that focus on personal development. And, I have come to the conclusion that a very important step has been left out, which in the end, can help you achieve success faster and easier.

What’s Perfect Clarity?

We can agree that visualization sessions are the path to achieve what you desire in your life. But, to get the maximum benefit from your daily affirmation sessions, you need Perfect Clarity. When I speak of Perfect Clarity, I mean doing in-depth research to identify specific information about your goal. For example, if you want to drive a Mercedes Benz SLK, you need to know all the fine details.

Researching the fine details helps manifest Perfect Clarity

Now, you may say that this is going way overboard and these details are not necessary, however, I believe they are crucial for success and for a very good reason. Think about a regular visualization session: you see yourself driving your dream car around the country with the wind in your hair and the CD player blasting your favorite song.

Don’t leave out the fine details

Now, think of a session where you know ALL the features of that same fine automobile. As you drive along that twisting and turning road you look around the interior and see the red stitching in the steering wheel, smell the black Nappa leather seats, hear the sound coming out of the 380 watt Harman/ Kardon LOGIC 7 surround sound system with 11 speakers, and feel the response from the 6 valve, 300 horsepower engine with a 7G-Tronic transmission, the world’s first 7-speed automatic transmission for passenger cars.

Perfect Clarity puts you in the seat of that luxury automobile

As you can see, the session with Perfect Clarity is like a session on steroids because you can focus all of your thoughts upon the smallest details. Then this provides your sessions with more power, more focus, and more energy. I believe it is well worth the investment of your time and effort to focus upon Perfect Clarity for whatever goal you wish to pursue in life.

I’m pleased to announce that I have taken my many years of experience writing about spiritual, self-help and self-development ideas and translated them into a number of everyday usable items. Recently, I signed up for a Redbubble account and began designing t-shirts, mugs and other products with inspirational messages. Here’s an example; if you like it, why not head over and have a better look at the New Self Collection. I’d be interested in knowing your thoughts…write to me at: inspiredwithquotes@gmail.com. Reading is as important for our mind as exercising is for our body

Exercise helps our body, but what about our mind?

Research from the world-renowned Mayo Clinic has shown that regular exercise is beneficial for our physical well-being. Overall, physical exercise prevents chronic health conditions, helps manage weight, strengthens our circulatory and respiratory systems, and allows for better sleep. Few would or could argue with the benefits our body receives from exercising.

Why do we neglect our minds?

While we work at improving our body, we neglect our mind. It appears we are more concerned with our physical Self than our spiritual Self. However, according to the Natural Laws, it is our spiritual Self that manifests our success and not our physical Self. In order to keep our mind fit and healthy, we need to read on a regular basis.

Creating Possibilities

One of the major benefits, ‘Creating Possibilities’, occurs when we develop the habit of reading. Reading success stories provide us with unlimited possibilities to be successful in our own life. We read about how someone overcame adversity, grew-up in poverty, or had a lack of formal schooling only to succeed in a big way. And this resonates with us. You’ve heard it before, If they can do it, I can do it too. No doubt, as a result of reading inspiring tales, our mind is strengthened and boosts our self-esteem, builds our self-confidence, and provides greater focus and meaning to our life. Now, we win in a big way.

Reading has many mental and financial benefits

While reading benefits our mind, it has also been shown to provide financial rewards as well. Recent surveys by The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and The National Adult Literacy Survey (NALS) have indicated that people who read more earn more. Sadly, more and more people are reading less and less every year. These people are missing wonderful opportunities to develop a stronger, more knowledgeable, and keener mind.

Make a plan and carry it out

So, what’s next? A plan to read will provide a path to success. Begin now to create a plan for the upcoming year and act upon it immediately. It is important to be specific and commit your plan to paper in order for your mind to receive the full benefit from reading. Be sure to include: How much money will I invest in my books? How many books do I want to read? What books do I want to read? And, When will I set the time aside to read?

Create a healthy body and a healthy mind

It has been said that all the knowledge and circumstances required for each of us to achieve success is present. And reading the works of James Allen, Napoleon Hill, William Walker Atkinson, or Bob Proctor, brings it all altogether for us. Keep reading to continue ‘Creating Possibilities’ and your mind will become as healthy as your body.

Don’t ask the Source your questions, rather, see your answers first and then changes will occur naturally.

It’s counter-intuitive to not ask for help

People who want to change their present unpleasant will ask the Source for help. Little do they understand that by asking for help, they are not allowing themselves the chance to change their lives. This statement may seem counterintuitive to what we have always been taught when we want big changes in our lives, still, have an open mind to this idea.

Our vibrational state determines our reality…past, present, and future

When we ask our questions first, we cannot receive what we ask for. And it is all about the state of vibration we are in when we ask those questions. We know that the state of vibration we are in determines our past, present, and future. For example, you are in debt and finally have hit the threshold and want to be out of debt. You want to have a secure feeling knowing that there is enough money to cover your monthly expenses and then some. So, you ask the question to the Creator of the universe:

How do I get out of debt?

Then you wait for your answers while all the time still being in debt and not being able to cover your monthly expenses. As time ticks on the clock, the car payment is due, the children need new clothes, and your banker needs money to cover your overdraft, you become more and more fixated on your question. So, you ask again:

How do I get out of debt?

Still, no earth shattering vision of what to do to relieve yourself of that mountain of obligations you have for living yesterday.  Being consumed by your question manifests an anxious state of scarcity which drives away any chance of getting out of debt.

See your results in your mind before they manifest in your hand

Rather than asking the questions first, see the answers first. By this I mean to see yourself already in a secure financial position: your children are wearing new clothes to school, you have a specific amount of cash in your bank account, and you are on holiday at a beach resort with your partner.

Have the Natura Law work for you, not against you

And the same goes for a new car, a bigger house, being an author, or a successful public speaker; see the answers first and then how to get there will be provided by our benevolent Creator. This is a Natural Law. Have complete faith that this method works to make the changes you want.

Live your answers and don’t live your questions

In the end, it is all about living the answers to your questions rather than asking the questions and looking for your answers. Seeing, feeling, tasting, and holding your answers in your mind’s eye will guarantee that you will make those big changes you want and deserve out of life.

If you don’t have a plan to succeed, you do have a plan to fail.

Natural Laws guide the universe

Continuous growth and expansion are innate within the universe and thus, within humankind since we are under the influence of the same Natural Laws which guide and sustain our terrestrial home.

Most lack to plan a plan

However, while the universe continues to grow ever larger, humankind often suffers miserably from lack and want. These conditions do not manifest from a malevolent Source, rather, from a lack of planning and action to achieve what we want and deserve from life.

Do you write down your goals?

It is safe to say that all of us want to succeed in life, still, while we say one thing, we often do just the opposite. Think about your own situation: when was the last time you wrote down your goals? When was the last time that you asked yourself what you wanted to achieve in the next 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years?

How long did you take to plan your last vacation?

Now, think about how much time you have taken to plan your next vacation? I am not a betting man, nevertheless, I would venture to guess that more time is spent planning that winter get-away than where you want to be and what you want to achieve over the next few years.

Written goals and success go hand-in-hand

Sadly, statistics indicate that 95% of us do not commit our goals to paper and coincidentally, there is a correlation between writing down your goals and achieving your goals. When we write down our goals we begin to set in motion the people and the circumstances that are needed to achieve our dreams.

Adventurer John Goddard

Take the example of adventurer, lecturer, author, and explorer, John Goddard (1924-2013). At the age of 15, he made a list of 127 goals he wanted to achieve in his life which included kayaking down the Nile River and climbing the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Before he died at age 88, he had accomplished 120 of his 127 goals. As a teenager, this precocious lad was quoted as saying:

“I was sure that if I planned for it, I could have a life of excitement and fun and knowledge.”

Discipline, deadlines, and dedication

After a lifetime, who some may say is the world’s greatest goal achiever, John Goddard almost achieved every item on his impressive list. How can you achieve what this amazing person accomplished? You need discipline, deadlines, and dedication! Daily, take a few moments to write down the steps needed to bring you closer to your dream and all the while, having commitment so you never give-up on that goal.

Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world

In the end, your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. If you allow the wind to carry you over here and over there, it is safe to say that you will most likely not achieve a long list of accomplishments. Or, if you rely upon fate or chance to achieve what you want from life, you definitely have a plan, albeit, a plan that lacks focus.

We have the means to achieve what we desire to achieve

Be confident; if the Source can provide you with a goal, the Source can provide you with the means to achieve the goal.

A Tell All…FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE

FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE

This post is different than any I’ve written for quadrant of success.com. It is the result of a number of readers asking about the who’s and the what’s and the why’s of FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE.

How it all started

Several years ago, I was flying from the Middle East to Bangkok and then to our home (in Northern Thailand) for summer break. I sat next to a passenger and naturally, we started talking. The small talk first and then the amazing next. I was shocked as he explained he was from Iraq and had been a political prisoner in the Saddam Hussein era.

His disapproval of the regime.

He mentioned about his dissent aimed at the administration and how he paid dearly for his vocal disagreement and disapproval of the harsh conditions that his countrymen and women were living under the regime.

What price did he pay?

He ended up as a political prisoner and was tortured over a period of time for his anti-government beliefs and practices. Considered a menace, he had to be dealt with accordingly.  However, he was fortunate to live while many others died or killed while in custody.

Inspirational meeting

I found the man’s spirit and determination to live a ‘normal’ life after what he endured inspiring. He was beaten but not beat. He was optimistic and not pessimistic. He had every right to think ill of the world. While his soul, body, and mind had survived under such cruelty, he now looked forward to his future life.

Why write the book?

His tale of torture made me sad but also proud as his great strength in such terrible times mirrored Viktor Frankl’s message of hope and dignity (Man’s Search for Meaning). With this in mind, I knew deep within that I had to write about this experience.

What occurred next?

When I arrived at home, I explained to my wife about our chance encounter.

On my computer Desktop, I have a folder labeled Books to Write. This is where I open a Word Document and write a few lines or perhaps, a few pages about an idea/experience/reading that seems interesting or valuable and should be written about. In this case, a few paragraphs were hastily typed out and archived for the future.

On January 1st, 2018, with my last book completed, it was time for my next project.  I scanned my folder and this title jumped out at me. It kept dancing around in my mind, hence, the story must be written.

The seed for this tale had germinated for a long time, and then it was time to bear fruit.

The story of “Dr. Abdulla”

I mentioned to my wife that I was extremely excited about the possibilities at hand, and explained the plot, format, and other details to her. She asked, “What can you possibly write about to help soothe this horrendous injustice?” I replied, “Honestly, I don’t know, but it’s the right time. I’m ready to honor this courageous soul and every other prisoner who has been tortured for their political beliefs aimed at a cruel regime.

The details of the story

I wanted to write about this tale to show how a brilliant, articulate, American-educated, university professor’s mind deteriorated over a full five years in solitary confinement. There is a deeper message to the story; surely, we must consider how one person can destroy another Self with such vile acts of cruelty, pain, and suffering.

My journey began with research about Saddam’s deeds, Baghdad’s prisons, and the political atmosphere at the time. It was fascinating and depressing to discover unnumbered acts of cruelty and suppression. At some point, many were included in the story.

The PROLOGUE opens with Dr. Abdulla being pursued through Al Zawra Park, Baghdad (pictured on the left), by Saddam’s bloodthirsty henchmen . Although he’s out-numbered, he puts up a valiant effort to remain free; still, he’s cornered, captured, and beaten. In court, his sentence is handed down. He feared facing a firing squad, but instead, received something which could be worse…incarceration for five years in a cramped concrete cell rather than being executed.

Even though he faced a long term under arrest, the ‘kind’ judge offered him a pen and paper which manifested 1,825  journal entries while in solitary confinement (over 100 are included in the 202 page book).

It was a tough decision how to record the journal entries; two possibilities came to mind. First, include a date, for example, January 10, 1992 and then March, 8, 1992 and so forth, moving forward until his ‘tenure’ ended at the prison. This way didn’t capture the feeling of being confined for five years.

Second, was to label the hundred plus journal entries by the number of days incarcerated, from Day 1 until Day 1,825. In my mind, this was a more interesting way to go since it stressed the long duration of time that he was held in jail.  Also, with this focus I could add numerology as another layer of complexity to Dr. Abdulla’s writings.

In order to paint a picture of Dr. Abdulla’s declining mental abilities, there were a wide array of grammatical, lexical, and orthographic devices used: these included, alliterations, malapropism, metaphors, narrative, pathetic fallacy, allegory, oxymoron, paradox, irony, satire, onomatopoeia, and metonymy.

The takeaway message?

In the end, I feel that I’ve accomplished my goal to demonstrate the inhumane treatment that Dr. Abdulla endured because of his political beliefs and its effects upon his mind. Still, the man I met on that plane survived the ordeal a stronger person who only wanted to resume a normal life.

Want to experience Dr. Abdulla’s plight first-hand?

While you have no choice from where you start, you have the choice of where you end.

Most don’t come from wealth or fame…most work for wealth or fame

Most of us didn’t grow up in luxury and we certainly didn’t have a say in who our parents were or what level of success they reached in their lives. Even though we had no control or say over our beginnings, many use their past as an excuse to prevent them from achieving their future.

We plot our own course in life

Nonetheless, in spite of our humble beginnings, we can make the decision and take the action to end up where we want to be in our life.

An example of BIG dreams and BIGGER accomplishments

Many years ago on a desolate beach near Barranquilla, Colombia, a young girl would spend her Sundays dreaming about her future. Those weekend trips were the backdrop for her thoughts of traveling to foreign countries and becoming a well-known celebrity.

An unlikely place for fame to germinate and grow

This seemed an unlikely place for a child to grow up and become a superstar in the entertainment world. Just a childhood thought you may say? Well, after years of holding these lofty thoughts in her mind, they manifested on a large scale for Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. Miss Ripoll, better known to the world as Shakira, became a successful singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress and philanthropist as a result of her thoughts. Shakira could have used her humble beginnings as an excuse for remaining in a life of poverty…thankfully, she didn’t.

Poor beginnings wasn’t an excuse

Then there’s the amazing story of the most successful jockey in history who was inducted into The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1958. Edward (Eddie) Arcaro was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1916, the son of a poor taxi driver. Although he had very poor beginnings, he didn’t let anything stand in his way of success.

100 defeats before 1 victory

When he started his career as a jockey he lost the first 100 races he entered. During his early days, he broke bones and never crossed the finish line first, nevertheless, he still hung-on tenaciously to his dreams.

An amazing career

Eddie’s career spanned 30 years and during that time he won 4779 races and notched up the highest earnings of any jockey to date. He also won The Kentucky Derby five times and The Triple Crown of Racing twice, in 1941 and again in 1948. Eddie Arcaro didn’t let his early life take away his future dreams.

Your present doesn’t dictate your future

We have read that many super stars grew-up in poverty and virtually had nothing, living in a bad part of town with a single parent and having no food, no money, and no heat in the winter time to keep them warm. If they would have let the reality of the moment take over their dreams, they never would have made it to be the legends we admire.

Create your future…by choice, not by default

Some of us are creating a future by choice while others are creating a future by default.  Don’t use the past as an excuse for your present or your future. Plot your own course for success and don’t allow excuses to get in your way for the future you deserve.

Love FOR and OF the Source: the direct path to spiritual enlightenment

LOVE…what makes us human

Singers sing FOR and OF love; artists paint FOR and OF love; and holy men tout the spiritual benefits FOR and OF love. To sum up; the history of humankind has clearly shown that singers, artists, and holy men believe love is the most valuable thought, word, and action that you can possibly manifest on this physical plane of existence.

A divine life manifests from LOVE.

They certainly hit the mark since the manifestation FOR and OF love creates a direct path to achieve and maintain a divine life. Surely, when a dogma from our spiritual world and our secular world agree rather than collide, this must be overwhelming evidence that the pursuit FOR and OF love is the most important pursuit you did, do, or will do throughout your life.

New possessions grow old…lose their glow

In our physical world, our physical possessions, no matter how large, how costly, or how exclusive, all turn to rust, lose favor, or lose their shine. Our big house, our expensive watch, and our special edition automobile will not last forever. And furthermore, these objects do not change you on the inside, perhaps, just the opposite can occur.

Possessions lead to illusions

While a new possession may temporarily provide the illusion that we are smarter, better looking, and more secure with our Self – our possessions cannot make us more intelligent, cannot make us more attractive, and cannot make us more secure with our Self. Our Self should not rely upon our sense of importance or self-worth manifested from a physical object; any and all physical possessions are as ephemeral as the clouds in the sky or the rain that falls upon the ground.

We strive for larger, shinier, costlier things for validation

Ultimately, when our physical objects lose the luster and intrigue which prompted us to buy them initially, we are then driven to buy a larger, a costlier, and a more exclusive object to take the place of the ones that have lost their magic and status with us, with our families, with our friends, and with our colleagues. This being the case, and there is no circumventing the ravages of time and the effects upon our physical objects, we need to focus our lives upon the timelessness of our sacred connection FOR and OF love of the benevolent Source.

The true pathway is LOVE

The path to gaining, maintaining, and retaining our most valued gift creates a true change of our Self. And, it is our awareness, our acknowledgment, and our acceptance FOR and OF our love of the Source that is eternal.

Science proves what the ancients knew

The ancients knew and practiced what modern science can now prove. Aristotle, the famous Greek philosopher is credited with the earliest idea of the mind and body connection. However, for almost 2500 years, we turned our back upon the influence of the mind upon the body as scientists believed that emotions and feelings were intangibles.

There’s a link between disease and our emotions

In the 1940’s, William Reich proposed the link between disease and our emotions; the result, he was persecuted and the FDA collected and burned his work which espoused such heretical views. Fortunately, we have the blinkers of ignorance removed from our eyes and science in general has now found there is a distinct and measurable relationship between our emotions, our feelings, and our physical bodies. As a consequence of this relationship, our emotions and our feelings have a direct impact upon our overall health.

Our emotions and feelings manifest chemical reactions which can be helpful or harmful to our human body. Hence, when we think, speak, and act love, there is a creation and release of a cornucopia of beneficial chemicals throughout our bodies. By contrast, when we think, speak, and act hate there is a creation and release of a cornucopia of harmful chemicals throughout our bodies. These chemicals that are rushing through us can then either prolong or cut-short our spiritual and physical presence upon the Earth.

Modern day scientists believe that a myriad of illnesses, including cancer, are linked to our own bodies’ emotions and feelings. Hence, it is crucial for your Self and your physical body to transform anger into love; impatience into patience; and envy into compassion. The transformation from negative thoughts, words, and actions to positive thoughts, words, and actions brings you closer to the Source and may possibly preserve you overall spiritual and physical wellness.

Transcend the physical world to find happiness and joy

The ancients knew and practiced what the self-development industry has been promoting for the past 100 years. The leaders of personal development openly endorse the idea that we must transcend the physical world to live in the spiritual world in order to find true happiness, fulfillment, and purpose in this life. Many believe that the Source created us as biological creatures that are wrapped-up in skin, bone, organs, and sinew who are only seeking physical pleasures.

If we believe this is our true and only purpose in life, then we are indeed suffering from a myopic illusion. When we only focus our thoughts, words, and actions upon the outer world, we are then limited since the true unlimited nature of the Self is found in our inner world and not our outer world. Even though we live within our present human form, we are much more than just pleasure seeking creatures. When we lose sight of our true purpose, then we suffer emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

We must make every effort to break the chains of our physical existence in order to escape to a higher plane of existence which begins with thinking, speaking, and acting FOR and OF love. The first and foremost purpose FOR and OF love is giving, freely giving love to all of those around you regardless of how they treat you or they think, they speak, and they act towards you. Our reaction to others prompts a positive or negative response from the universe – if we love them, we receive love back – and if we despise them, we receive despise back.

Selfless actions harvest bountiful rewards

Treating those around you who treat you unfairly may be seen as a selfish action since we must realize that if we act the way others act towards us, we also benefit or suffer along with them. Our feelings and emotions are like a hunter’s boomerang which can provide sustenance for our spiritual Self or injury to our physical and spiritual bodies. Love changes your entire outlook upon your life and your Self.

LOVE is a divine gift, for each of us

The ancients knew and practiced what each of us in our present human form innately possesses. The Source has freely provided every last human being the ability to think, speak, and act FOR and OF love regardless of their gender, location, cognitive ability, or culture. This divine gift is encoded in each one of the trillions of cells that compose our present physical form and it is our awareness and focus upon this gift that manifests our outer world to mirror our inner world. As we have and share our feelings FOR and OF love for our Self and for others as well, we then spiritually emulate the Source.

We are One with the One.

We have compassion and empathy for our Self and for others which can only manifest positive people, positive events, positive and circumstances in our lives. While it may take time, and not on earthly but cosmic time, nonetheless, a person who possesses a pure heart which is driven by love can only receive more love from the benevolent Source. Yet, all too often we suffer from a lack FOR and OF love; we suffer emotionally, physically, and economically when we attempt to separate from the inseparable.

The disconnect between LOVE for others and our self

The problems we face in the modern world are reflected in our disconnect from the benevolent Source. We are composed of the identical basic elements that each and every one on the planet is made from; we are composed of the identical elements that the stars, planets, and galaxies throughout the expanding universe are made from, and as such, we have a divine creation with everything and everybody regardless of how small or how large that object may be.

We are stardust. We are energy. We are LOVE

While we share the identical elements, we also share the identical energies – either positive or negative – and we cannot escape the fact that we are bound to each other and to each object by this fact. As such, our Self is their Self and we must love our Self which in turn loves their Self. The innate love that we harbor deep within our Self, must be expressed and it must not be repressed, however, it must not be expressed in a forceful way, rather, a gentle way which is indeed the greater strength of the two. Living a life FOR and OF love is the Law – the Law that is innate in all things large and small.

LOVE for the Source and for each other is the one true pathway

In the end, it is your love FOR and OF the Source that manifests long-lasting change and subsequently a fulfilling life to be enjoyed to the maximum when existing in your present physical form. The tension between your inner world and your outer world is an exciting and empowering circumstance to be faced with. It is a supreme battle to control your Self – to be a positive and loving Self and not a negative and hateful Self.

The choice to LOVE is ours

You see, you have been provided the choice to follow the path you want to focus upon by a benevolent Source. You can decide upon being enlightened or you can decide upon being unenlightened and only one state can exist in the same temporal and spatial plane. This path of enlightenment is lined with love, the love that the most valued members of humankind have espoused over the millennia. Make the choice to focus upon the path that brings eternal joy and happiness.
