Don’t let the ‘Right Now’ dilemma take control of your future

Photo by Eduardo Olszewski on Unsplash

Time is provided equally amongst the rich and poor, young and old, and educated or uneducated

It makes no difference if you are the richest or the poorest person, the happiest or the saddest person, or the most grateful or least grateful person walking on this earth, there is no getting away from the fact that we all have the same amount of time each day. While we all are given an identical amount of this precious commodity, it’s what we think about time that differentiates successful from unsuccessful people.

Time is not an evil roadblock to success…in reality, it is an ally and not an excuse to forfeit your dreams and goals

As you talk with your friends, most likely many express the fact that they have unfulfilled dreams and that TIME is the major factor that prevents them from achieving their dreams. They rationalize that TIME is the evil that builds roadblocks to their goals. As a result, as they think so they say and so they do:

I want to start an on-line business, however, ‘Right Now’ I work every week-end.

I really want to take my family on that special vacation, but, ‘Right Now’ I don’t have any spare time.

Time is malleable…it can and does accommodate the required hours to achieve your success

As these people think, and rightly so, they are creating and receiving all the conditions and circumstances to make their goals impossible to reach. They simply don’t realize that they are pushing their goals and their dreams farther away with their thoughts, words, and actions. What these same people do not understand is that time is elastic…it seems to accommodate what we want to get accomplished no matter what. Time is malleable IF we don’t believe in ill-thought up excuses.

Singer-songwriter Harry Chapin believed most don’t take the risks required to achieve their success

The late singer-songwriter Harry Chapin believed that we should make the most of the time we have on this earth without any excuses. In an interview not long before his unfortunate death, he mentioned that many people go through life never taking any of the little risks. And since they shy away from the little risks, they miss the biggest risk of all – they haven’t tried everything they wanted and they find out that they have not lived a full life.

Get out of bed a few minutes early every day and use that time to pursue your goals

If you want to write a book and work full-time and on week-ends as well, get up a half hour earlier each day and write a few pages. From my own experience, I wrote Voice of the Sage over several months by grabbing the short time I had before going to work and finishing my breakfast.

Set big goals and set the time to move towards your goals

After starting my day working on my goal, I was excited for hours; it was empowering. If you want to earn an on-line degree, sacrifice a set amount of time before dinner or bedtime to complete your assignments. I earned my PhD working full-time and writing a number of books by stealing an hour here and a half hour there.

Manage your time efficiently to receive the dreams and goals you envision in your life

Like I managed to do, make the most of those few minutes that just slip away from you in your day-to-day living. And, over a few weeks or possibly months, you will see amazing results and have made progress to your goal even though you were never given any more time during your day. That’s how my twenty-plus books were completed…by taking a few minutes here and a few minutes there.

Success happens when what you are thinking, what you are saying, and what you doing are all in harmony.

This is my last post for 2022. I hope that every reader of my blog has a healthy and prosperous 2023. All the best for the upcoming year and that my ideas resonate with yours and we both enjoy happiness and wisdom throughout the new year.

Harmonious thoughts, words, and actions are paramount to achieve your goals

Much has been written about the means and circumstances for one to achieve what they are aiming at in their life. And it appears that we must have our thoughts, our words, and our actions in harmony or we simply will not reach our goals. In the end, it is crucial we have Oneness with this trilogy of success within our lives.

Thinking one thing and doing the opposite is not the best path to achieve what you want

While most recognize the wisdom of this statement, at times, it is an arduous task to line-up these essential ingredients for success. For example, we go around saying one thing on the outside, but, thinking something different on the inside. Or we act one way on the outside when on the inside our true feelings portray our real expectations of attaining our desires. When this happens to us, we are experiencing Vibrational Discord and we cannot attain our goals when we are in this state. The problem is that all the pieces of the puzzle to make us successful are incongruent.

Doubt is a dream stealer

Think of it this way, you work your success plan diligently and just do not seem be able to make any progress. Then doubt enters your mind and you want to give-up because things are not moving you along as you would like to your ultimate want.

Stay on course by being in harmony with your thoughts, words, and actions

It’s like being in a holding pattern over the airport in a modern jetliner: you are on course, you see the runway, and then you are suddenly thrown into a holding pattern as you circle around and around and around. Because you’re not closing the gap between your wants and your results, this incompatibility paves the way for frustration and fear which can take away enthusiasm and desire for the goals that you have planned for in life.

Incongruency manifests as Vibrational Discord which ends up stealing your wants, needs, and dreams

While Vibrational Discord is a negative state which hinders your forward progress, it can be said that just the opposite occurs when you are in a state of Vibrational Accord. There is compatibility between your wants and your results as all the pieces mesh and at the same time, they must all align simultaneously for you to attain your goal and this is all possible having Vibrational Accord.

Vibrational Accord manifests from your harmonious state of being

It starts with the thoughts that you are thinking which are then reflected in the words that you are saying which coincide with the actions that you are taking. This is true accord with your thoughts and your words and your actions. These three elements are said to be congruent, which in turn is similar to the function of automatic pilot on a jetliner which naturally brings you to your final travel destination.

Receiving your wants, needs, and dreams are the byproducts of Vibrational Accord

You need to be in a state of Vibrational Accord in order to achieve your goal. Ultimately, if your thoughts and your words and your deeds are congruent, the dreams that you have for your life must actualize.

The ‘Woulda’, ‘Shoulda’, ‘Coulda’ dilemma can rob you of a life of success.

Did I accomplish too much in my life?

When a person is taking their last breath on this earth, I wonder who would think that they had accomplished far too many things in their life? Of course not, unfortunately, it’s just the opposite where most would believe that they didn’t achieve all that they wanted in their life. However, there are a few things you can do to get the most out of your life.

Unfulfilled dreams are those that have slipped away

You’ve probably heard it all before: I woulda’ been a great doctor; I shoulda’ finished my degree; I coulda’ traveled the world. These people have unfulfilled dreams that were once important and worthy of achievement, however, for whatever reason have slipped away with time.

We spend more time planning our vacation than our life

If you have a goal, but, never make an effort to reach it, what holds you back? When you ask most people this question, ‘How much time do you spend planning your next vacation?’ the answer will probably not surprise you. Then follow-up this question with, ‘How much time do you spend planning your life?’ Unfortunately, most spend more time planning their next vacation than their life with only 5% of the people ever writing down (and achieving) their goals.

Create a long list of goals; how to achieve them at this point isn’t important

With this in mind, create your personal goal list and write down what you want to achieve in your life. This should be a spontaneous list and you should write down a minimum of 50 things you want to accomplish.

Rank your goals of importance to you

Then break the goals down to the most important, your Number 1 goal, Number 2 and so on. Next, break down your No. 1 goal to a daily to do list. Finally, after a period of time, you can review the past 3, 6, 9, and 12 months to see what has been accomplished. With this action plan, you will quickly see where you are at and where you want to be.

Don’t wait until everything is perfect, it might not happen

Remember, you don’t have to be an expert to achieve your goals and you certainly don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to accomplish what you want in your life either. What you need to do is set a goal and to take action, however small, to move towards your goal. Let’s hope that you’re not sitting in a rocking chair one day and thinking about your own wouldas’, shouldas’ or couldas’.

We move towards our goals while being in a state of relaxation; we cannot move towards our goals in a state of agitation.

Emotions can be either positive or negative; however, the results of our emotions are very different

We are constantly being told by personal development experts that we must keep our eyes upon our goals and then pursue them with emotions in our hearts. This is well and true…our emotions can be a positive that leads us to our goals, however, they can be a negative that leads us away from our desires as well.

Emotions that interface with actions manifest HUGE results

Emotions are the super-fuel that powers us to our goals and we must have our emotions interface with our actions to produce big results. Just think of the opposite; a half-hearted attempt at being the best salesperson or an uninspired public speaker delivering a message, it just doesn’t seem possible to achieve much without emotions. In the end, emotions are the catalyst to success.

Control of our emotions is key to our success or our failure

While emotions are critical for success, we must be aware of our controlling emotions. I don’t mean to throw away all your emotions, it is important to have intense emotions for your goal. It’s the negative feelings and thoughts that are detrimental to success; for example, if you are anxious, this emotion can only drive a goal farther away.

Anxiety and a lack of faith cannot possibly manifest your dreams

When you’re anxious, this means you fear that you will not achieve your goal. And when you have no faith in the Natural Laws and no belief in yourself, you cannot attract that which you desire most in your life.

Your personal barriers can and will come down with positive emotions such as faith and surrender

The key then is to pursue your goals with emotions, positive emotions, and not allow the negatives to occupy your mind and build barriers to your goals. It has been written that faith can move mountains, in contrast, a lack of faith can keep you exactly where you are at this moment. Give in to the Creator of the universe to get what you want.

Have a strong belief that you have already achieved your set goals before they happen

It is important that you have 100% belief in your own ability to achieve success. That’s not to say we must be arrogant about our own talents, rather, we must believe without a doubt that we are capable and will succeed in our pursuits.

Each goal is in your mind before it’s in your hand

Act as if you already have your goal: smell the leather of that car interior or take an imaginary walk around your expansive new house. At first, you must have the goal in your mind, and then it appears in your hand.

Harmony and gratitude are crucial to your success

Expressing gratitude to the universe will manifest two positives. First, you are relaxed since you are genuinely thankful for what you have achieved to the moment. Second, the universe acknowledges your harmonious state and returns more of the same energy back to you.

The universe will deliver your desires and wants as a result of your positive emotions

Positive emotions act as powerful magnets that attract your goal to you while negative emotions repel your goals farther and farther away from you. Be calm and receive what is truly yours and what the universe wants to deliver to you.

Create your life through dedication, discipline, and deadlines.

Photo from Upsplash; Aaron Visuals

Success, in whatever form it takes for you, is not just wishful thinking

We buy a motivational book, hear a motivational speaker, or listen to a webinar and we come to the conclusion that with little or no effort on our part, except for wishful thinking, we can sit back and wait patiently for success to walk through our door. No wonder we have shattered dreams and broken lives.

Success is innate, but it still has to be ignited by your actions

Even though we harbour within ourselves the means to achieve an unimaginable level of success, we still need to take action to receive our end goal, and this is The Law.

Don’t just TRY to achieve your goals

It seems that many try to achieve their goals, but, they try until the next great idea comes along and then they try that one for a while and the cycle goes on and on. In the end, they just give up and believe that success is meant for everyone else except for them. However, when we try to reach our goals, we really are not giving it our all, it is just a half-hearted attempt and this lack of commitment keeps success just out of reach.

A simple, yet precise path for your success

Rather than just try to achieve our dreams, we need to follow this simple, yet effective formula to accomplish those lofty aspirations: dedication, discipline, and deadlines

Dedication is the STICKTIVITY in our lives

Dedication is making that extra effort when you tired, beat-down, and held-back from achieving your goals. Yet, we must endure even when things look the bleakest to accomplish what we want from life. It often happens that our greatest set-back prepares us for our greatest triumph. In order to be able to have sticktivity in our lives, it is important to make the right choice initially. This way, if there are some bumps upon the road to success, you still keep going around, under, or through those roadblocks.

Discipline is the deal breaker and deal maker

Discipline is doing what you need to do even though you may not want to do it. It is easy to get distracted in our techno world. Still, something must be done, anything, no matter how small each and every day to move you towards your goals. When we think about sales, it is not always the smoothest talker that achieves success, rather, it is the most disciplined who do certain things regularly that succeed in a big way.

Deadlines are the crucial yardstick for success

Deadlines keep us on track, so, they are a crucial yardstick for success. Still, if you let deadlines manifest negative emotions, you only drive success further away from you. Manage your deadlines and do not allow your deadlines to manage your emotions.

Attaining success is a easy as the three D’s

While we have to work at our goals, there are ways to be sure we keep on track when we are tired and up against it. As you pursue your lofty dreams in life, remember The Triple D’s and the impact they can have upon your achievements.

If you don’t have a plan to succeed, you do have a plan to fail.

Natural Laws guide the universe

Continuous growth and expansion are innate within the universe and thus, within humankind since we are under the influence of the same Natural Laws which guide and sustain our terrestrial home.

Most lack to plan a plan

However, while the universe continues to grow ever larger, humankind often suffers miserably from lack and want. These conditions do not manifest from a malevolent Source, rather, from a lack of planning and action to achieve what we want and deserve from life.

Do you write down your goals?

It is safe to say that all of us want to succeed in life, still, while we say one thing, we often do just the opposite. Think about your own situation: when was the last time you wrote down your goals? When was the last time that you asked yourself what you wanted to achieve in the next 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years?

How long did you take to plan your last vacation?

Now, think about how much time you have taken to plan your next vacation? I am not a betting man, nevertheless, I would venture to guess that more time is spent planning that winter get-away than where you want to be and what you want to achieve over the next few years.

Written goals and success go hand-in-hand

Sadly, statistics indicate that 95% of us do not commit our goals to paper and coincidentally, there is a correlation between writing down your goals and achieving your goals. When we write down our goals we begin to set in motion the people and the circumstances that are needed to achieve our dreams.

Adventurer John Goddard

Take the example of adventurer, lecturer, author, and explorer, John Goddard (1924-2013). At the age of 15, he made a list of 127 goals he wanted to achieve in his life which included kayaking down the Nile River and climbing the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Before he died at age 88, he had accomplished 120 of his 127 goals. As a teenager, this precocious lad was quoted as saying:

“I was sure that if I planned for it, I could have a life of excitement and fun and knowledge.”

Discipline, deadlines, and dedication

After a lifetime, who some may say is the world’s greatest goal achiever, John Goddard almost achieved every item on his impressive list. How can you achieve what this amazing person accomplished? You need discipline, deadlines, and dedication! Daily, take a few moments to write down the steps needed to bring you closer to your dream and all the while, having commitment so you never give-up on that goal.

Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world

In the end, your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. If you allow the wind to carry you over here and over there, it is safe to say that you will most likely not achieve a long list of accomplishments. Or, if you rely upon fate or chance to achieve what you want from life, you definitely have a plan, albeit, a plan that lacks focus.

We have the means to achieve what we desire to achieve

Be confident; if the Source can provide you with a goal, the Source can provide you with the means to achieve the goal.

While you have no choice from where you start, you have the choice of where you end.

Most don’t come from wealth or fame…most work for wealth or fame

Most of us didn’t grow up in luxury and we certainly didn’t have a say in who our parents were or what level of success they reached in their lives. Even though we had no control or say over our beginnings, many use their past as an excuse to prevent them from achieving their future.

We plot our own course in life

Nonetheless, in spite of our humble beginnings, we can make the decision and take the action to end up where we want to be in our life.

An example of BIG dreams and BIGGER accomplishments

Many years ago on a desolate beach near Barranquilla, Colombia, a young girl would spend her Sundays dreaming about her future. Those weekend trips were the backdrop for her thoughts of traveling to foreign countries and becoming a well-known celebrity.

An unlikely place for fame to germinate and grow

This seemed an unlikely place for a child to grow up and become a superstar in the entertainment world. Just a childhood thought you may say? Well, after years of holding these lofty thoughts in her mind, they manifested on a large scale for Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. Miss Ripoll, better known to the world as Shakira, became a successful singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress and philanthropist as a result of her thoughts. Shakira could have used her humble beginnings as an excuse for remaining in a life of poverty…thankfully, she didn’t.

Poor beginnings wasn’t an excuse

Then there’s the amazing story of the most successful jockey in history who was inducted into The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1958. Edward (Eddie) Arcaro was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1916, the son of a poor taxi driver. Although he had very poor beginnings, he didn’t let anything stand in his way of success.

100 defeats before 1 victory

When he started his career as a jockey he lost the first 100 races he entered. During his early days, he broke bones and never crossed the finish line first, nevertheless, he still hung-on tenaciously to his dreams.

An amazing career

Eddie’s career spanned 30 years and during that time he won 4779 races and notched up the highest earnings of any jockey to date. He also won The Kentucky Derby five times and The Triple Crown of Racing twice, in 1941 and again in 1948. Eddie Arcaro didn’t let his early life take away his future dreams.

Your present doesn’t dictate your future

We have read that many super stars grew-up in poverty and virtually had nothing, living in a bad part of town with a single parent and having no food, no money, and no heat in the winter time to keep them warm. If they would have let the reality of the moment take over their dreams, they never would have made it to be the legends we admire.

Create your future…by choice, not by default

Some of us are creating a future by choice while others are creating a future by default.  Don’t use the past as an excuse for your present or your future. Plot your own course for success and don’t allow excuses to get in your way for the future you deserve.

“The paths you take and the results you make are yours to create; these are neither random nor preordained conclusions.”

Our results aren’t due to luck, chance, or fate

Many would subscribe to the belief that the results in our physical world occur from luck, chance, or fate. However, on a daily basis, these same people inadvertently experience the benefits of a sundry of Natural Laws without any thought or appreciation of such wondrous events.

The Natural Laws are predictable and measurable

These Laws have been present since the moment of creation and continue to successfully keep the events that occur in the universe predictable and measurable. If there are any doubts, consider what it takes for planning a journey to the Moon or keeping an entire nation hooked-up to an electrical grid. In some instances we may not be able to detect the Natural laws with our five senses, nevertheless, there is evidence that the Natural Laws exist and neither chance nor fate nor luck are the pathways to what we hope to attain in this physical life.

Over-used, worn-out, and fallacious sayings

We all grew-up with such trite expressions such as Good Luck, It’s a twist of fate, and She’s so lucky to explain the unexplainable. These over-used, worn-out, and fallacious sayings help a great number of us cope with every-day life and the unpleasant as well as unplanned things that may occur to us. All the bad things that happen to nice people must be fate or chance or luck and all the good things that happen to bad people must be fate or chance or luck. After all, why would a benevolent Source not intercede to stop negative things happening to good people or stop positive things happening to bad people? With this thinking, it is easy to understand why many believe that life is nothing but a card game where an Ace may show-up in your hand this time but a Joker the next.

Are we the cards in a universal card game?

And when it comes to planning goals in life, such as economic freedom, a nice home, and a loving relationship…you have as much luck for achieving your personal goals as you do by rolling the dice and hitting snake eyes or a seven. These kinds of thoughts permeate the consciousness of many and leave a person with little expectation to achieve what they set their minds and souls upon.

Modern-day intellectualism demands physical evidence as proof

Now, to complicate this even further, add modern-day intellectualism to our choices in life…only things that can be proven scientifically are true and real and all the rest is just nonsense contrived by artists, romantics, and poets to cope in the real world where some are wealthy and happy and the balance are poor and unhappy. The great thinkers of the past, including such luminaries as Newton, have left their indelible mark upon humankind. And it all starts with scientists themselves: a recent survey of their spiritual beliefs indicated that a mere 7% believed in the Source, 72% disbelieved in the Source, and the balance polled was agnostic.

Beliefs support agendas…agendas support beliefs

Naturally, their beliefs support their agendas which support their beliefs: it is fair to assume that science is the new Source comprised of mathematical formulas and calculations. As the experts put forth their hypotheses and assumptions, these are based upon the absence of the Source. They propose that the Source does not exist in reality, only in our minds, and we cannot have a connection with or benefit from a Being that does not exist on the physical plane of existence which we are familiar with in this day and age.

“Experts” create the new reality

The media then grabs a hold of the ideas that the experts state as truth and these ideas enter into mainstream thought since we believe unquestionably what the experts propose as truth and reality. Even though their ideas may not hold-up under close scrutiny, nonetheless, these ideas are deeply entrenched in our collective consciousness and we now accept these as real and true and most live their lives on such premises.

Our lives are predetermined…we have no influence upon the outcomes in our life

Then we have the people who believe that every one’s life is predetermined from Day 1 and that we have no say in what we are or what we achieve in this earthly life.  Since we have no say and no influence upon the things that occur in this universe, each and every one of us are merely pawns in some universal chess game. Not since the devotion of the 16th century Calvinists have we witnessed such faith and adherence to this predeterministic dogma in one’s life. In their eyes, they see individuals as unimportant when it comes to participating in the creation in the universe – we are mere viewers and not participators.

There is no free will…we are hard-wired since birth

Their Supreme Being has not given humankind free will to pursue what we want to pursue, after all, there is no purpose or need to have free will provided to us since humankind has no control and no influence upon order or disorder in the universe. Accordingly, our brains and our bodies are fully hard-wired, imprinted, and preprogrammed with our destiny upon our entry into our terrestrial home.

Our fate is immutable

Hence, we must buy a newspaper at a certain time; we must drive home a certain way even if it means our death; and we must have a bad relationship even if it means a life of unhappiness. We cannot change that which is predestined, no matter where we live, where we work, or where we go. With our earthly existence and results already set and being immutable, many must accept their fate as the way it is and make no attempts to break free of their lot in life.

We are creators of our paths and results

Finally, there is support for the current belief that each and every one of the human race has been given free will from the benevolent Source which allows us to create what we want and deserve in this life. This idea is not folklore. And this idea is not an illusion conjured-up by artists, romantics, or poets – it is an idea that is supported by the New Age scientists including Max Planck, David Bohm, and the founders of Quantum Physics.

We focus upon what we want to manifest

Fundamentally, Quantum Physics has shown us that what we think is reality is indeed the case. As a result of this observation, we have direct control over the events that occur in our life and our focus helps to manifest that which we focus upon. Furthermore, all things in the universe, no matter how large or how small are directly connected by a field of energy which can be accessed to allow us to manifest our goals.

We are linked to the power of universal energy

We have direct access to the neutral power of the universe. Since this field of energy is neutral, it merely delivers that which is requested of it, hence, we have domain over our results, past, present, and future. Be confident that you can plan your plan and then work your plan to achieve what you desire most in this life albeit, money, good health, or a spiritual Self.

There are many possibilities and there are many opportunities

Our goals and dreams are achievable since we have at our very fingertips multiple dimensions with multiple possibilities and our end results are created by our focus. Since multiple dimensions exist and they all exist at the same moment, there are as many possibilities as there are opportunities in your life at the same moment. This being the case, there is a reality where we have meet our soul mate and have enjoyed a fulfilling life together; there is a reality where we were never ill and lived a long life; and there is a reality where we started a business and we had tremendous success and helped the less fortunate around us.

Focus upon the possibility that you desire

At any one time, all possibilities exist around us, however, we can exist in only one possibility at the moment and it is our focus which makes a possibility a reality. Our focus is our thought and thought is energy and it is this energy that is attracted to like energy which manifests our possibility into a reality. Like only attracts like and cannot attract unlike. Hence, we can never focus our thoughts upon good and receive bad and we can never focus our thoughts upon bad and receive good. We must understand that once we can overcome the illusion of what we see in the physical world around us, we can then live the life of our choice with happiness and prosperity and without doubt or fear or illness.

Spirituality can help heal and prolong one’s physical body

If there is any doubt that we are in control of our destiny – regardless if it physical or spiritual – consider the results of ill patients who have spirituality in their lives. The statistics from numerous studies have shown that a person who is spiritual, regardless of what form their personal spirituality may take, recovers from their illness quicker and often lives longer when compared to a person who has no spirituality or spiritual focus in their life. It appears that their return to wellness is hinged upon their thoughts, beliefs, values, and feelings and those thoughts, beliefs, values, and feelings are focused upon their connection with the Source.

A divine conduit to good wellness

This divine connection appears to be the conduit which helps to unblock negative energy and to re-channel with positive energy. And there is evidence that distant healing has helped patients to return to wellness too. There is also scientific proof that meditating can and does help eliminate a wide variety of health problems including high blood pressure, hypertension, and other maladies which we suffer from in the 21st century.

In the end, undoubtedly, we have control over our health, our wealth and our Self – needless to say, we have both positive and negative influence upon the events and results that occur in our lives.

We are full participants in our results

The results that you have received in your life to this very moment are not the product of random or predestined events…our results are fully in our hands and we are full participants and creators in a universe governed by a benevolent Source with a set of immutable Natural Laws.

“Happiness manifests from within – happiness does not manifest from without.”

Big, new, shiny things can’t fill the void

In our modern-day world, it is common for many to believe that acquiring as many physical objects as possible, big ones, shiny ones, and costly ones will ultimately bring them true and lasting happiness in their life. While they pursue these objects to a near feverish pitch, they never realize that acquiring these objects alone can never fill the void of unhappiness that they suffer from.

Do not depend upon things to manifest long-lasting happiness

Their state of mind and thus, their vibratory state should not depend upon the material goods that they have or have not accumulated to the present moment. In fact, happiness in our present physical form can never be sustained by the acquisition of physical objects. Rather, it is the pursuit of living in the moment in the presence of positive thoughts and positive feelings which can manifest true happiness.

Live in the moment

Our benevolent Source has given each and every one of us the choice as to how we live in the moment; we can focus upon positive thoughts and positive feelings which manifest a positive vibratory state that ultimately results in true happiness.

We create our own prison walls…that can’t be seen

Or, we can focus upon negative thoughts and feelings which manifest a negative state that can only create prison walls to keep our unhappiness locked-in and our happiness locked-out. Both states can never exist in the same physical space and at the same temporal moment. And fortunately, happiness is stronger than unhappiness and unhappiness will always be conquered by happiness.

There is a bridge between the visible and invisible worlds

There exists within us an invisible world and there exists without us a visible world. Faith in the invisible world holds much promise for us as we visualize lofty dreams and magnificent goals, peace and tranquility, happiness and joy. Belief in the outer world holds little promise for us and can manifest as crushed dreams and vanquished goals, unrest and disharmony, sadness and despair.

We control our inner world

Yet, it is our control over our inner world which creates an outer world of happiness and the division of the two can manifest as one if we use the power of the Source as a bridge between the two.

Where are you building your castle?

The castles we build on the inside lead to true happiness – the castles we build on the outside do not lead to true happiness. As we envision our spiritual castles, created from hope and faith and gratitude, we begin to view happiness and the manifestation of happiness in its true light. Happiness is the supreme form of freedom. Happiness is the supreme form of lightness.

Happiness is love…love is happiness

Happiness is the supreme form of love. When we begin to understand what happiness brings to our physical life, we surround our Self with happiness, we surround our Self with harmony, we surround our Self with the Source, and we experience what life is like from the Creator’s view of the universe.  As we enjoy happiness, more happiness will be drawn to us since like attracts like.

Happiness manifests from within…not from without

If you do not focus upon happiness, you cannot attain happiness. If you do not act towards happiness you cannot attain happiness. If you do not decide upon happiness, you cannot attain happiness. However, it is an eventuality to manifest happiness from within and it all begins with your thoughts and your feelings. When you focus upon, act towards, and decide to be happy in your life, and it does not depend upon your material possessions, you will become happy.

“Find your vibrational balance first – then your life’s labor will find you.”

Our goals can be taken away from us when we’re young

When we are young, we often dream about what we will do in the future and more often than not our less than consistent Self caused us problems. So, if we dreamed about being an artist one day and then an actor the next and a pilot the day after that, we were often discouraged from having such childish thoughts and told to think about a real job, even though we lacked the desire to do so; one that would provide enough money to get married, raise children, and buy a home, the kind of jobs like our family and relatives had. While meaning well, our families and relatives were doing us a great injustice when they believed we should work just for money, or work just for prestige, or work just for a family business.

Follow your feelings to achieve harmony in your life

In the end, if we follow their advice, we will suffer disharmony and live in a negative vibratory state which can cause us emotional and financial harm. Rather than discourage such ideas, families would do much better, and we would as well, if they advise us to do what makes us happy rather than what we are obliged to do; finding what occupation will provide you with the greatest amount of genuine happiness first will then lead to you to your life’s labor. And finding genuine happiness for what you do results in a positive vibratory state which makes this life a sheer enjoyment.

Encourage…not discourage your children to travel a different path

When your child is growing-up, encourage them to think big and wonderful and wacky thoughts of being an artist, an actor, a policeman, an astronaut or whatever profession that really ignites a passion or curiosity within them. As you child goes about their daily activities, they will no doubt experience positive things that accompany such worthy occupations. They will see a comedian make an audience roar with laughter; they will see a policeman save a child from grave danger; they will see a scientist discover a new planet somewhere in the farthest reaches of the universe – witnessing these various good experiences can then transfer to become the true experiences they have in their adult lives.

Support your child’s unbridled curiosity

When you child is older and enters the workforce, let them experience as many occupations that their curiosity can handle and with your full support. Let them do menial tasks, let them apply for prestige jobs, let them travel abroad and live in a hut with natives who survive on little money and eat what nature provides for them. Let them experience as many different jobs as humanly possible with the full knowledge that they will find their true calling in life after their many experiences – both good and bad.

Experiencing different occupations is meaningful and not meaningless

Many might think that job surfing is a waste of time and time is wasted money, however, we have many years ahead of us and all these experiences are not wasted since each experience results in what we are and how we go about our life’s journey. So, let them not have to do what you think they should do with their life, instead let them align themselves with the real them which is deep inside their soul. And, if they keep an open mind and fully experience each new job that they work at, our children shall exist within a positive vibratory state which will then lead them to their life’s labor.

What makes you happy?

Now, at a certain stage of life, many find themselves trapped in a job which pays them a large salary, gives them little time to spend with their family, and puts a great deal of stress upon their health. Overall, it appears to be a recipe for an unfulfilled and unhappy life. What can a person do in this unpleasant present situation they find themselves in? Well, what makes you happy? This may not be an easy question to answer since the average person will make their decision based upon their monthly bills and unpaid obligations.

Your life’s purpose manifests when you are in a positive vibratory state

However, to break the cycle, one has to view what they really want…not based upon the present, but upon their true feelings. I am not advocating just going out and quitting your present job with little or no regard for your financial and personal obligations.

Don’t allow limits to provide answers to your questions

I am saying just the opposite; start by answering the question with a relaxed mind and body with no limiting thoughts about your present situation. If you feel anxiety, you can never find that ideal job since a negative vibratory state will not and cannot ever lead you to a positive vibratory state which includes the work that you want to spend your life doing. Your life’s purpose cannot manifest under stressful or fearful thoughts and conditions.

Achieving my positive vibrational state

I have experienced what I am writing about: I was working in financial services for many years and had wanted to enjoy a new career, but due to financial and personal obligations, my dream was always after this bill was paid or that bonus was received. I never gave-up on my dream, rather, I visualized my new career every day and experienced all the joys it brought me long before it ever brought them to me.

You may face many unpleasant presents before you live your passion

As a result, it took many years of unpleasant presents to pass before I finally made the leap to a new career. I went back to university full-time and was making as much money doing odd jobs each month – selling carpets and automobiles – as I made each week in my past job. However, my vibrational state was positive and great happiness has filled my life as an English instructor in a variety of foreign countries. After 15 years of never having a single sick day and still enjoying my work and my students, I know that I found my life’s labor and it wasn’t all about hard work; it was about finding and pursuing what I had a passion for.

Love your labor and not the money

Find your vibratory balance first and then this will undoubtedly lead you to your life’s passion. You can reach this level of awareness and achievement by first, not listening to the wisdom of others. Second, by listening to your Self and then third, act accordingly. At that point, you will never work another day in your life.
