Your blueprint for success must include awareness, decisiveness, and thankfulness

Photo by George Hiles on Unsplash

You need a destination before you start your journey

You can compare your life to a road trip: as you travel along, you must navigate around potholes, cross over bridges, and go through tunnels. If you plan to journey across the country, you would not just pack up your car, fill it up with gas, and point it down the road without a final destination.

Where’s my roadmap?

No doubt, you would take the time to find a roadmap that shows you how to arrive at your final destination. If you take such meticulous effort to plan leisure time, why not take the time to find a roadmap for a successful life?

A blueprint for your life can help you succeed

On a road trip, you need a map and on your life’s journey, you need a blueprint. One succeeds at life by having a blueprint that has been proven to be successful by others through time, trial, and observation. After many years of experimenting with this idea, I’m suggesting the following as part of your plan for success: you need awareness, decisiveness, and thankfulness to achieve big goals in your life.

Awareness of our creative powers changes our emotions and ultimately, our results

Many believe that they are powerless and insignificant in the universe. As a result of these feelings, they believe they have no control over their future, and thus, over their results. However, modern-day science is proving that we are both participants and creators within our cosmos. When we are truly aware of our power over our own destiny, naturally, our emotions change. As our emotions change, then our results change.

Use your intuition to make decisions quickly and change decisions slowly

Once you have awareness, you now need to have decisiveness. Many people fail in life because they cannot make a decision. They change their minds as they change their socks. Or, they hope with all hope that someone else will make their decisions for them. Research has shown that achievers make their decisions quickly and then change their decisions slowly, if at all. They react on their intuition since their gut feelings lead them rather than being led by the crowd or circumstances. As you acquire decisiveness, you must move closer to your goals.

Thankfulness for your present will change your future

Thankfulness for wherever or whatever you are at the present moment is critical for success. If you find that you have not achieved what you wish, you still must show your thankfulness. It is imperative to show sincere thankfulness since the universe mirrors back your emotions. If you send out emotions of lack, need, or want, you can only receive the same back in your life.

Success is the result of your awareness, decisiveness, and thankfulness

When you are aware of your power, when you can make a decision, and when you show thanks, you have the blueprint to make your life a success. Follow these suggestions to achieve the life you desire.

When you only believe in the seen, you lack the faith to achieve what you want; however, when you believe in the unseen, you have the vision to change your world.

Our past is taken away from us by our future

The Western mind has been molded by the great scientists of the past: Galileo, Newton, and Einstein. In their time and with their technology, each of these brilliant minds left a legacy that explained the world in which they lived. However, when they imparted their intelligence upon us, they, nonetheless, took a vital part of our past away from us.

Formulae and statistics cannot and will not ever acknowledge or explain the unseen world around us

One of the lasting legacies of these brilliant minds is that knowledge and reason are reduced to formulae. These magical numbers, which are beyond the comprehension of most, can and do explain everything that we can possibly experience or question within and about our lives. We are inundated with the idea that science is logic and logic does not support the unseen.

Rational minds dismiss the influence from the unseen

Thus, a rational mind only believes what is seen and explained by science. It is sheer folly to believe in miracles within a world of logic and reason. It is of little wonder that in a recent survey the majority of the respondents did not believe in a Supreme Being.

Ancient messages are seen as metaphors but with little substance or relevance

With the belief that science is the supreme intelligence, it appears that the wisdom and message of the ancients is all but mocked and discarded. Their wise messages about the universe we inhabit are seen as cute metaphors that are interesting, but, hold no substance or no answers.

New physics challenges the view that some have of the unseen and irrational

Then along came the new physics which is represented by the likes of Max Planck, John Wheeler, David Bohm, and Karl Pribram who challenge the science and scientists of the past. In essence, the general belief from these scientists is that the universe, and therefore, everything within it is connected by a field of energy that responds and grows from our attention and participation. Hence, we all contribute and create within the ever-expanding universe in which we find ourselves in.

A divine web of existence has connected us since the universe was created

This message of connection and participation is the same as described within the founding legends of past societies when they spoke of their life. Almost 5000 years ago, the ancient ones lived their lives based upon the principles of a divine web or net of creation. Even though we have been aware of these guiding principles, it is only now that scientists are beginning to realize what the wise ones of the past knew and practiced all along.

Humankind is at a crossroads and our future depends upon our view of the ideas from the past

It now appears that those who believed in the unseen were right from the very beginning as modern-day science now proves. It seems that humankind is currently at a crossroads which could determine our very existence in the near future. Hence, the messages that ancient cultures left for us we’re not all in vain or without reason. Still, we need to embrace these ancient values and messages in order to make progress and live a life filled with spirituality and oneness with the Creator of the cosmos.

Some people are living their life by choice while most are living their life by default

Is your life by choice or by default??

Choices are made by conscious effort or through unknown circumstances

We create our lives by our choices, some make conscious decisions of their choices while most let others or circumstances make their choices for them. The ones who take control of their own lives are the ones who achieve what is theirs by living the Natural Laws. The ones who put their future in the hands of others simply take what is given to them and seldom reach their true potential. They float along unconscious of their power and live a life of want, lack, or misery even though they have complete control over their future.

Fate or luck?

The reason most people suffer quietly through life and never get what they want is that they fail to make a decision to go after their dreams. They let fate or luck or others guide them without any effort or thought.  However, they miss the crucial point that their thinking brings about huge changes which ultimately, manifest their goals. Since thoughts are energy, either positive or negative depending on the nature of the thought, the key is we must change the energy within and around us by our thoughts.

Creators do not abandon their creative side

By our very nature, we are creators and when we abandon our creative side we suffer emotionally, physically, and materially. Emotionally we feel isolated and unloved, physically we suffer from sickness, and materially we face want and lack.  However, in the face of these sufferings, we have the innate quality to create our wants and they must manifest first in our inner world or the outer world suffers.

We are connected to the universe

We have all been there before, even though we never have been, those eerie feelings are not just our wild imaginings, they are our connection with the rest of the universe. So, we need to be able to consciously apply ourselves to the goal we want to achieve. We must not think of achieving our goal in the future, instead, we must work as though we have already accomplished our goal at this moment.

Our ability to observe our goal internally, manifests our goal externally

We must experience what it feels like in our mind before we have it in our hand. We do this by creating a powerful image of what we want, what it feels like, and what it will do for our family and ourselves. As such, you may liken yourself as an observer who experiences your wants prior to their existence. As a result, we manifest our goals by the mere observance. You cannot think that you will have something in the future and have it, instead you must make your future your present. These thoughts provide the means to achieve what you want.

Achieve success though your conscious decisions

Most are unaware that the Source holds their questions and their answers. We have the power and the knowledge to achieve our goals IF we make a conscious decision to do so. Simply access the means to achieve what you desire.

Don’t ask the Source your questions, rather, see your answers first and then changes will occur naturally.

It’s counter-intuitive to not ask for help

People who want to change their present unpleasant will ask the Source for help. Little do they understand that by asking for help, they are not allowing themselves the chance to change their lives. This statement may seem counterintuitive to what we have always been taught when we want big changes in our lives, still, have an open mind to this idea.

Our vibrational state determines our reality…past, present, and future

When we ask our questions first, we cannot receive what we ask for. And it is all about the state of vibration we are in when we ask those questions. We know that the state of vibration we are in determines our past, present, and future. For example, you are in debt and finally have hit the threshold and want to be out of debt. You want to have a secure feeling knowing that there is enough money to cover your monthly expenses and then some. So, you ask the question to the Creator of the universe:

How do I get out of debt?

Then you wait for your answers while all the time still being in debt and not being able to cover your monthly expenses. As time ticks on the clock, the car payment is due, the children need new clothes, and your banker needs money to cover your overdraft, you become more and more fixated on your question. So, you ask again:

How do I get out of debt?

Still, no earth shattering vision of what to do to relieve yourself of that mountain of obligations you have for living yesterday.  Being consumed by your question manifests an anxious state of scarcity which drives away any chance of getting out of debt.

See your results in your mind before they manifest in your hand

Rather than asking the questions first, see the answers first. By this I mean to see yourself already in a secure financial position: your children are wearing new clothes to school, you have a specific amount of cash in your bank account, and you are on holiday at a beach resort with your partner.

Have the Natura Law work for you, not against you

And the same goes for a new car, a bigger house, being an author, or a successful public speaker; see the answers first and then how to get there will be provided by our benevolent Creator. This is a Natural Law. Have complete faith that this method works to make the changes you want.

Live your answers and don’t live your questions

In the end, it is all about living the answers to your questions rather than asking the questions and looking for your answers. Seeing, feeling, tasting, and holding your answers in your mind’s eye will guarantee that you will make those big changes you want and deserve out of life.

Every minute of every day we are creating our future because of the thoughts we hold in our minds.

Success, in what form it may take, does not depend upon your physical world

We can attract unlimited abundance into our life. We can receive unlimited happiness into our life. We can manifest unlimited success into our life. And these extraordinary results are not limited to one’s age, gender, location, or level of formal education.

Why are we able to attract such large and wonderful results into our life?

Each and every one of us is made-up of the same physical materials that comprise the planets and every form of life found upon the Earth. Since we are all created from the same basic substances, we are all under the same Natural Laws as the largest solar system and the smallest microbes. As a result, if we consider the Law of Gravity, no matter the size of the object, gravity reacts in a like manner…this is exact and unerring like any mathematical formula bearing scientific proof.

We are in a constant state of vibration

While these various bodies, big and small, appear to be of a solid material, they, in fact, are in a state of constant motion. So, what we see is not what is.  Even our earthly bodies are in that same state of constant vibration. This motion is energy, raw energy which permeates every nook and cranny of the universe.

We are a storehouse of energy

And, our physical bodies, made of flesh and bone, are a living storehouse of energy. Still, we are not just energy; we are a powerful mass of spiritual energy, vibrating energy, which is in constant motion and manifests as our physical body and our material world.

Our thoughts, like our physical bodies, are under the Natural Laws

Our thoughts, although not possessing physical properties, are things found within the cosmos which then places them under the same Natural Laws as everything which inhabits the universe. Accordingly, our thoughts are a mass of spiritual energy which occupies every area within the universe.

We must master our thoughts to reach the level of success we deserve and desire

These thoughts, however, are not just haphazard, they originate within the minds of every single one of us whether consciously or unconsciously. Since we are the creators of our thoughts we are the masters of our thoughts.  Being the master, this places our thoughts under our control. We control our thoughts to actualize the things that we love and we control our thoughts to actualize the things that we fear.

Our innate energy supports our every thought

As we think either positive or negative thoughts, we must support these thoughts with our energy and this must set in motion everything that is necessary for the fulfillment of our thoughts.

Monitor your thoughts to achieve what you want in this life

Our thoughts and our thoughts alone create the future that we desire. Closely monitor your present thoughts to be sure that you are correctly thinking about what you want in life. Your very future depends upon your ability to control the most precious thing that you will ever own.

A Tell All…FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE

FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE

This post is different than any I’ve written for quadrant of success.com. It is the result of a number of readers asking about the who’s and the what’s and the why’s of FLY ON THE WALL: DAYS OF SOLITUDE.

How it all started

Several years ago, I was flying from the Middle East to Bangkok and then to our home (in Northern Thailand) for summer break. I sat next to a passenger and naturally, we started talking. The small talk first and then the amazing next. I was shocked as he explained he was from Iraq and had been a political prisoner in the Saddam Hussein era.

His disapproval of the regime.

He mentioned about his dissent aimed at the administration and how he paid dearly for his vocal disagreement and disapproval of the harsh conditions that his countrymen and women were living under the regime.

What price did he pay?

He ended up as a political prisoner and was tortured over a period of time for his anti-government beliefs and practices. Considered a menace, he had to be dealt with accordingly.  However, he was fortunate to live while many others died or killed while in custody.

Inspirational meeting

I found the man’s spirit and determination to live a ‘normal’ life after what he endured inspiring. He was beaten but not beat. He was optimistic and not pessimistic. He had every right to think ill of the world. While his soul, body, and mind had survived under such cruelty, he now looked forward to his future life.

Why write the book?

His tale of torture made me sad but also proud as his great strength in such terrible times mirrored Viktor Frankl’s message of hope and dignity (Man’s Search for Meaning). With this in mind, I knew deep within that I had to write about this experience.

What occurred next?

When I arrived at home, I explained to my wife about our chance encounter.

On my computer Desktop, I have a folder labeled Books to Write. This is where I open a Word Document and write a few lines or perhaps, a few pages about an idea/experience/reading that seems interesting or valuable and should be written about. In this case, a few paragraphs were hastily typed out and archived for the future.

On January 1st, 2018, with my last book completed, it was time for my next project.  I scanned my folder and this title jumped out at me. It kept dancing around in my mind, hence, the story must be written.

The seed for this tale had germinated for a long time, and then it was time to bear fruit.

The story of “Dr. Abdulla”

I mentioned to my wife that I was extremely excited about the possibilities at hand, and explained the plot, format, and other details to her. She asked, “What can you possibly write about to help soothe this horrendous injustice?” I replied, “Honestly, I don’t know, but it’s the right time. I’m ready to honor this courageous soul and every other prisoner who has been tortured for their political beliefs aimed at a cruel regime.

The details of the story

I wanted to write about this tale to show how a brilliant, articulate, American-educated, university professor’s mind deteriorated over a full five years in solitary confinement. There is a deeper message to the story; surely, we must consider how one person can destroy another Self with such vile acts of cruelty, pain, and suffering.

My journey began with research about Saddam’s deeds, Baghdad’s prisons, and the political atmosphere at the time. It was fascinating and depressing to discover unnumbered acts of cruelty and suppression. At some point, many were included in the story.

The PROLOGUE opens with Dr. Abdulla being pursued through Al Zawra Park, Baghdad (pictured on the left), by Saddam’s bloodthirsty henchmen . Although he’s out-numbered, he puts up a valiant effort to remain free; still, he’s cornered, captured, and beaten. In court, his sentence is handed down. He feared facing a firing squad, but instead, received something which could be worse…incarceration for five years in a cramped concrete cell rather than being executed.

Even though he faced a long term under arrest, the ‘kind’ judge offered him a pen and paper which manifested 1,825  journal entries while in solitary confinement (over 100 are included in the 202 page book).

It was a tough decision how to record the journal entries; two possibilities came to mind. First, include a date, for example, January 10, 1992 and then March, 8, 1992 and so forth, moving forward until his ‘tenure’ ended at the prison. This way didn’t capture the feeling of being confined for five years.

Second, was to label the hundred plus journal entries by the number of days incarcerated, from Day 1 until Day 1,825. In my mind, this was a more interesting way to go since it stressed the long duration of time that he was held in jail.  Also, with this focus I could add numerology as another layer of complexity to Dr. Abdulla’s writings.

In order to paint a picture of Dr. Abdulla’s declining mental abilities, there were a wide array of grammatical, lexical, and orthographic devices used: these included, alliterations, malapropism, metaphors, narrative, pathetic fallacy, allegory, oxymoron, paradox, irony, satire, onomatopoeia, and metonymy.

The takeaway message?

In the end, I feel that I’ve accomplished my goal to demonstrate the inhumane treatment that Dr. Abdulla endured because of his political beliefs and its effects upon his mind. Still, the man I met on that plane survived the ordeal a stronger person who only wanted to resume a normal life.

While you have no choice from where you start, you have the choice of where you end.

Most don’t come from wealth or fame…most work for wealth or fame

Most of us didn’t grow up in luxury and we certainly didn’t have a say in who our parents were or what level of success they reached in their lives. Even though we had no control or say over our beginnings, many use their past as an excuse to prevent them from achieving their future.

We plot our own course in life

Nonetheless, in spite of our humble beginnings, we can make the decision and take the action to end up where we want to be in our life.

An example of BIG dreams and BIGGER accomplishments

Many years ago on a desolate beach near Barranquilla, Colombia, a young girl would spend her Sundays dreaming about her future. Those weekend trips were the backdrop for her thoughts of traveling to foreign countries and becoming a well-known celebrity.

An unlikely place for fame to germinate and grow

This seemed an unlikely place for a child to grow up and become a superstar in the entertainment world. Just a childhood thought you may say? Well, after years of holding these lofty thoughts in her mind, they manifested on a large scale for Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. Miss Ripoll, better known to the world as Shakira, became a successful singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress and philanthropist as a result of her thoughts. Shakira could have used her humble beginnings as an excuse for remaining in a life of poverty…thankfully, she didn’t.

Poor beginnings wasn’t an excuse

Then there’s the amazing story of the most successful jockey in history who was inducted into The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1958. Edward (Eddie) Arcaro was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1916, the son of a poor taxi driver. Although he had very poor beginnings, he didn’t let anything stand in his way of success.

100 defeats before 1 victory

When he started his career as a jockey he lost the first 100 races he entered. During his early days, he broke bones and never crossed the finish line first, nevertheless, he still hung-on tenaciously to his dreams.

An amazing career

Eddie’s career spanned 30 years and during that time he won 4779 races and notched up the highest earnings of any jockey to date. He also won The Kentucky Derby five times and The Triple Crown of Racing twice, in 1941 and again in 1948. Eddie Arcaro didn’t let his early life take away his future dreams.

Your present doesn’t dictate your future

We have read that many super stars grew-up in poverty and virtually had nothing, living in a bad part of town with a single parent and having no food, no money, and no heat in the winter time to keep them warm. If they would have let the reality of the moment take over their dreams, they never would have made it to be the legends we admire.

Create your future…by choice, not by default

Some of us are creating a future by choice while others are creating a future by default.  Don’t use the past as an excuse for your present or your future. Plot your own course for success and don’t allow excuses to get in your way for the future you deserve.

Posted on Leave a comment

Your habits manifested your life in the past and now they manifest your life in the present, however, your habits are malleable which allows you to manifest a change in the future.

Success begins by forming habits of success

Success in life, be it spiritual, physical, or material begins by forming the habit of success. And there’s a wise saying which encapsulates the paths we end-up taking in life, “At first you make your habits and then your habits make you. There is absolutely no one who would deny that your day-to-day habits will not manifest a life of success or failure.

Create your habits, don’t let them create you

If you want to pass a course that will earn you more money at work but watch television and never do your assigned homework, your lackadaisical habits form your present and future failure. If you want to purchase a larger home for a growing family and work overtime to start a home-based business, by saving the extra money, your saving habits will insure that your family will live in a larger home in the present and in the future. Naturally, you may not have the money, or automobile, or peace of mind that you want today. Still, you must see, believe, and say that success is yours due to the good habits that you have formed in the past, the present, and the future.

Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world

Years ago, perhaps you started a new job and at first worked diligently, but, somewhere along the way you became disinterested or unhappy with your employer, job conditions, or monthly income. As a result, you reacted accordingly; your thoughts, words, and actions reflected your inner world. On the other hand, a friend began the same job, however, this person excelled and enjoyed the job and as a result of their thoughts, words, and actions, they became a leader in the company. Both of you were conditioned by your inner and outer environment – both created and lived by habits that conditioned success or conditioned failure.

Your past can shackle your future

The past then manifests your freedom or shackles your present in chains. Your old habits either support your thoughts, words, and actions towards your goals or your thoughts, words, and actions haunt you and lead you away from your goals. We are unable to relive our life in the past, nevertheless, we can act accordingly in the present to change the future.

We are given a gift to change what is to what will be

The Source has provided a temporal gift to change our Self. Every new day presents itself to us to make the changes necessary to alter the paths we take and the destinations where we eventually end-up. And along with this gift, we have received the spiritual gift of choice.  Each of us has an equal opportunity to create a new Self which in the end depends upon our focus and our awareness in and of life.

The only constant is change…control this inevitable truth for the betterment of all

The Source has also freely provided an infinite physiological gift. Our present human forms are created in such a miraculous way that they allow us to maintain old habits or create new ones. When we look at our loved ones, we identify them by the physical forms that they have: hence, we see black eyes, we see black hair, and we see a body 165 cm. tall. While our physical bodies appear to be solid objects, they are as ephemeral as the waters that flow in a stream. It is this constancy of change which is one of the greatest gifts provided to us by a benevolent Source.

Our cells are the pathways to change and success

Scientists have estimated that the human body has somewhere between 50 and 100 trillion cells. Since each cell has 24 pairs of chromosomes, this translates into roughly 2,300 to 4,600 trillion pairs of DNA. It is well documented that each cell reacts to situations and feelings by a chemical change. This chemical change occurs in waves throughout our bodies as we instantly react in fear or love, hence, there is a corresponding chemical elixir that mirrors our feelings and attitude. While this is fascinating, even more intriguing was an experiment completed by the US Army.

Our emotions live on in our DNA, even IF separated by 350 miles

In 1993, the US Army questioned if a cell (DNA) responded to emotions once separated from a human donor. A subject’s DNA sample was taken, isolated, and measured to see if it responded to emotions. The donor watched a number of movies that resulted in a variety of emotions. When the donor was watching the videos, the DNA responded in electrical currents that mirrored the emotions which occurred when the subject viewed the different videos. Miraculously, the DNA was separated not only by a room, but, by as much as 350 miles away. At this distance, an atomic clock gauged that the person’s emotions and the response of the cells were simultaneous – there was no time lag between the two even separated by such a great distance. This is indeed a primordial gift which helps us survive in the physical world.

Our body changes but remains the same as new cells replace old cells

While we have such a large number cells, our bodies are not the same since our cells reproduce new cells which replace the old cells and so on and so on as long as you occupy your present human form. We may appear to be the same person, when in reality we not the same person as we were in the past. Although we may appear to be the same, nonetheless, we are ‘different’ persons since our old cells have been replaced by new cells.

The shamans of Peru and indigenous tribes of Australia knew what science has just discovered

Scientists have been able to measure the rate of change in the human body and many of our major organs, and as such, it is estimated that the cells in our liver change completely about every 6 weeks; our skin in roughly 7 days; our skeleton replaces every cell in around 7 years; and our heart cells 1% per year. At one time scientists believed that our brain did not grow new cells over time, nevertheless, the experts now refute this claim as they have discovered that the human brain can in fact grow over time. Even though these facts are supported by scientific findings, they are not new since the shamans of Peru and the indigenous people of Australia have known and practiced this since time immortal. Once again, ancient knowledge is being proven by modern technology.

Our cells have memories

The fact that our bodies’ cells change over time is invaluable when we apply this knowledge to changing our old, poor habits to new, good habits. As miraculous as the constant changes that occur within our bodies, is the fact that our cells have a ‘memory.’ This may sound like science fiction, yet, this idea has been supported by many experiments. For example, there was a great plague in the early 1900’s which killed a large number of people. The survivors of that pandemic illness, which cut short the lives of so many, even after 50 years their cells kept the memory and they were immune to a future tragic illness.

Our cells are pre-programmed for success

While our cells change, there appears to be an exchange of information – the primordial universal information which helped to keep these survivors safe from a future outbreak. Furthermore, a liver remains as a liver and your skin remains as skin, and do not morph into some other major organ due to memory. If our cells and our DNA can save us from future illnesses and reproduce an exact organ due to having a memory, then it is entirely consistent there can be an exchange of our wants, our needs, and our desires with our DNA molecules as well.

Our habits are encoded on our miraculous cells

Our cells change over time and since our habits are encoded in our old cells, the new cells must unquestionably ‘accept’ the encoded memory of those habits whether they are good or poor. Your habits remain the same and do not become discarded with the replacement of an entire organ over time. The key then is to encode good habits at the cellular level at the expense of poor habits to receive what you want and desire in this life. You can start the process of replacing old habits with new habits by visualizing the encoded change upon each of the trillions of cells in your body. Sit quietly and ‘see’ the new habit replacing the old habit – make this a habit for 21 days and then you will ‘see’ the difference in the way that you think, act, and talk about your life and the goals that you have set for your Self.

Live FROM the future and not FOR the future

Most live FOR the future and not FROM the future, there is a big difference in your thoughts, words, and actions when you live FROM the future rather than FOR the future. When you live FROM the future, you are already experiencing the achievement of your goal. Hence, you are already experiencing a live of spiritual enjoyment; you are already experiencing a beautiful relationship with your soul mate; and you are already experiencing a life of abundance on the spiritual plane of existence although you have not achieved what you want on the physical plane.

Think, believe, and act I AM and not I WILL

And when thinking about your new habits, think I AM and not I WILL, there is a great deal of difference between these two words and how they interface with your Self. I am not just playing with semantics here, I AM is right now while I WILL is somewhere in the future. These few simple suggestions will help you to remove old, poor habits and replace them with a set of new, good habits.

We have the spiritual and physiological means to achieve success

Each of us in our present human form has been provided with spiritual and physiological means to achieve our goals and also make long lasting changes in our lives. These are the miracles that the wise ancients wrote about, spoke of, and practiced in their daily lives. When we fully understand and accept the miracles freely given to us by the benevolent Source, we are fully capable of creating our new realities as we rid our Self of our past and present negative habits. By the same processes, we can reinforce our past and present positive habits as well.

“Manifestations occur when you are in a state of serenity and not when you are in a state of anxiety.”

How do we cure what ails us?

Today, we find that the self-help industry is huge – it is a multi-billion dollar business – and within the parameters of this industry we find that the most sought after cures for the majority are a lack of money, a lack of self-esteem, and a lack of purpose. According to the gurus within this industry, the magic elixir to escape from and then place these maladies in life far behind you is manifesting.

Manifest what you desire

It is commonly accepted that we are able to transcend the negatives in life by manifesting our personal goals of health, wealth, and Self, This idea has had a tremendous impact upon the psyche of modern day society. Perhaps, the general acceptance of this idea may rival the discoveries that the Earth was not the center of the universe and the Earth was not flat as assumed by the masses many centuries ago.

We never realize our goals when in a state of anxiety

While the collective consciousness may agree that manifesting is the key to achieving our goals and changing our life for the better, most turn to manifesting in times of dire need which is when they are in a state of negative vibration. As they attempt to force changes in life to escape their present unpleasant situation, many never realize their goals and as a result turn their backs upon the Source’s invaluable gift for long-lasting and meaningful change.

Your vibratory state determines your ability to manifest your desire

The self-help experts promote manifesting as the rightful path to relieve your Self of the misery that your Self has caused you to experience in the past, causes you to experience in the present, and will cause you to experience in the  future. While much has been said and written about manifesting your personal goals, it is critical for your success to be aware of the vibratory state that you are in both before and during your manifesting session. The overall lack of success that many people face is that they approach manifesting when they are at their lowest point.

How can a negative vibratory state produce positive results?

They attempt to manifest a drastic change in their life when they have no money, when they are sick, when they have no job, and when their relationship is on the rocks. Needless to say, when a person is at the lowest of the lows, they are in a negative state of vibration. They are enveloped in a black cloud of anxiety, fear, and desperation…negative states of energy which can only attract negative states of energy according to the Natural Laws of the universe. How do they ever expect to escape their current situation in such a vibratory state?

Don’t build barricades around your goals

The vibratory state that you dwell in determines the results that you have in your past, your present, and your future life. There is simply no escaping the immutable laws of the universe regardless of your gender, age, education, celebrity, or location. When you are in a state of anxiety prior to attempting your manifesting session, you can only build barricades which stop the universe from delivering your goal. When you are in a state of anxiety as you attempt your manifesting session, you maintain the barricades which repel your goal.

Believe in your future goals…but do not base your beliefs upon your present situation

It is imperative in your manifesting session that you do not allow the negatives in your life, such as overdue bills, economic meltdown of your country, or an advanced state of illness to influence your thoughts, words, and actions which ultimately impacts your ability to achieve your end goals. You must see past the present unpleasant situation as the only reality of your life. It is not the only possibility, just one of a countless number that exist at any given moment.

Your goal already exists…it takes the proper action, thoughts, and words to accomplish it

While a state of anxiety can stop a successful manifesting session in its tracks, by contrast, a state of serenity can result in the natural achievement of your goals. Of course, it is not easy to focus your mind upon the good you expect to receive long before you receive it when the dogs of despair are nipping at your heels, still, this is exactly what is required to end the cycle of poverty, illness, and fear which plagues so many of us and keeps us in the throes of anxiety. But, consider the alternative; remaining in a state of anxiety perpetuates the conditions that rule over your life. To escape the state of anxiety and enter upon a state of serenity you need to see your Self, your inner being, the goal already manifested.

The present is malleable

So, while you stare the negatives straight in the face, have unconditional faith and absolute belief that the negatives are not the only reality, they are just the present reality which is malleable. Be genuinely grateful that you are where you are since feeling unfortunate, unlucky, or ungrateful will only tighten the noose of negative energy that encircles your entire Self.

Belief and faith destroy a negative vibratory state

Fully understand that the negatives can be broken by seeing economic prosperity, good health, and wellness in your mind long before you hold them with your hands. Your focus determines what possibility becomes your reality and your reality is determined by your focus.

Goals have their a life of their own…nurture them to fruition

Manifestations have a life of their own: they are born from your desires; they live from your thoughts; and they pass from your actions. As they proceed through the different stages of their existence, manifestations may change their shapes. And they are not under human time…they are under cosmic timelessness. They are also reborn as different although similar manifestations. For example, you may want to earn a degree in one discipline; however, you realize that this choice is not the best to fulfill your personal and economic goals in life. Hence, your initial manifestation passes and remerges as a new manifestation which better fulfills your personal goals. In the end, the life of a manifestation is dependent upon your being in a state of serenity and not in a state of anxiety. Serenity fulfills your manifestation while anxiety ends your manifestation unfulfilled.

Spiritual Connection

Just between life and death

Timeless void before the sacrosanct journey

It all comes back to me

I can say the words

I can hum the songs

Which passed many centuries

I can see the sights

I can touch the forms

Things that have gone before

I can smell the fragrance

I can taste the sweetness

Objects long turned to dust

I can sense the love

I can re-experience the connection

We shared in the past

Feeling mellow; a reader recently bought a copy of my poetry book: Ethereal Presence, Volume II
