If you work on the inside, the outside will take care of itself

Should we buy first and then find the money to meet our obligations?

In this modern world of consumerism and self-development, we are often led to believe that we should first buy expensive automobiles, costly designer watches, or rare collectibles before we even have the money or the plan to pay for them.

Can you feel worthy with more new gadgets and goods?

The rationale is that once you have made the purchase, albeit, on a line of credit or on time, the solution will manifest and you will have the money at your fingertips to pay for these luxuries. And as a result of owning these costly goods, you will then feel worthy and your self-esteem will get a much needed boast. Is this correct thinking?

With all your heart you hope that your bank account catches-up with your bills

When you buy these products before you have the cash to do so, you hope that your mind will catch-up with your new found status and then come-up with a solution. However, all we need to do is look at the present economic environment to see the results of this kind of thinking. Before our eyes we see that businesses are closing, people are losing their homes, bankruptcies are increasing, and marriages are failing…these are the by-products of this reverse thinking.

We sell our souls for material goods but at what cost to our spiritual development?

It seems that we generally get it confused as we strive for the status of having a material possession at the cost of neglecting our spiritual development. Still, what is happening on the inside determines our results on the outside.  In this world which maintains order and harmony as a result of the Natural Laws, it would seem logical to do just the opposite to achieve your desires. Instead of buying the goods first and hoping for a means to pay for them, invest in yourself first and your connection with your spiritual Self will manifest all that you desire in life.

Connection with our spiritual side manifests the guidance we need to meet our wishes and desires

When you invest in self-development books, tapes, and seminars you have the means to connect with your spiritual Self which will provide the guidance to manifest your physical wants. As you follow your inner world to achieve your goals in the outer world, this kind of thinking cannot result in bankruptcies, evictions, and divorces. This is because you are in control of your destiny and not under the control of banks, bosses, and others.

Express your deep, heartfelt gratitude to the Source for each goal you achieve

Of course, when you do achieve the physical manifestations of the thoughts you hold within your spiritual world, celebrate and express gratitude to the Source for your achievement. You have earned it and should feel that sense of accomplishment in the journey and the goal.

Natural Laws are permanent; material goods are ephemeral; which one are you investing in?

The latest fashions and status symbols come and go quickly in this day and age. What’s hot today ain’t hot tomorrow. Do not stake your future on the ephemeral nature of material goods, rather, place your faith in the permanence of the Natural Laws. When you develop your inner world, the outer world will be much more gratifying.

Express your gratitude daily to the Source for your physical health, your material wealth, and your spiritual Self.

Bring magic into your life by expressing gratitude on a daily basis

There is something magical about expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Source of the Natural Laws on a daily basis. Simply put, as you express gratitude, you are drawn closer to where all good originates. As a result of being in a harmonious state with the Source, you can only receive abundance in your life.

Money can buy goods…it can’t buy health

No doubt, there are many things that we can be grateful for in life, however, why not begin by being truly thankful for the one thing that many people take for granted – good health. Most go through life ignoring their physical health and when they lose their health, it’s often too late to regain it.

Even a billionaires money couldn’t buy good health

Andrew Carnegie, the famed industrialist and richest man in the world during his time, said that he would give 10 million dollars to prolong his life for a few more years. Still, no amount of money can ever buy back your health. Think of it this way, expressing gratitude is a form of preventive medicine and as you are thankful for good health, you attract the same back into your life.

Your material wealth is a result of your past thinking

Your current material wealth is the result of your past thinking and actions. Regardless of what you have at the moment, be thankful for it. If you have an old car, you must be grateful; if you have unfashionable clothes, you must be grateful; or if you live in a small apartment on the bad side of town, you must be grateful. This is not to say that you have to be content with your present possessions, you should set your sights higher as is the very nature of humankind itself.

Gratitude creates within and around you a positive state of vibration

Still, when you are grateful for what you currently have, you place yourself in a positive state of vibration, which naturally attracts your goals to you. On the other hand, if you voice your displeasure with what you have accumulated to this moment, you are placing yourself in a negative state of vibration and then you are unable to own a new car, a new set of clothes, or a large apartment.

Divine knowledge permeates our universe

Being grateful to the Source is the first step to developing our spiritual Self since the acknowledgment of a single Source creates a powerful connection to the divine knowledge that permeates our universe. As you tap into this knowledge, you become empowered and in harmony with your wants and desires. Harmony creates results, this is the Law.

Gratitude, expressed daily, creates a truly fulfilled life

Remember, if you consistently express general discontent with any aspect of your life, you can only receive more of the same. Be grateful for everything that has occurred in your life, after all, it is the sum of what you are at the present moment. No matter the circumstances, be sure to express gratitude for your health, your wealth, and your Self.

The expansiveness of your inner world is far greater than the expansiveness of your outer world.

We are amazed by the Earth’s physical beauty

Most are in complete awe of their physical world. Consider the visual delights that await you when you stroll along a clear-blue mountain stream or hike through a peaceful green forest in the spring time. Surely, you are appreciative of experiencing the natural wonders given to us by the benevolent Source?

Ancient Pompeii, a snap-shot in time

Or wander through ancient Pompeii and marvel at the architecture of our glorious past. Glimpse into a time capsule as you are mesmerized by the same colorful wall paintings that our ancestors marveled at almost 2000 years ago.

Swirling colors…a delight to our eyes

Spend time experiencing the artwork of one of the greatest artists of all time. Be in wonder at the thick, swirling colors laid-down by our beloved Vincent who never sold a single painting he labored over when on this physical plane of existence.

Social networking has shrunk the world

And think about what social networking has done to our circle of friends and acquaintances: one minute you can be writing to a friend in Norway, the next with an acquaintance in Qatar, and then with a former colleague who has moved to China. There is also our family who often must move abroad to find meaningful employment; as such, my family is now in Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand.

Experience various cultures…but never leave home

In order to stay connected, we can simply access the Internet or easily board an airplane and within a few hours enjoy fish and chips in the UK, savor prawn-soup in Thailand, or delight in lamb from New Zealand. Hence, with a more mobile workforce and improved technological innovations, we can experience a wide range of cultures and traditions in virtually every country on Earth. Still, while these wonders of our outer world are breathtaking, nonetheless, they pale to the wonders of our inner world.

Some never appreciate the beauty that exists around them

Although our Earth is seemingly large and offers untold experiences for each of us, nevertheless, we share an earthly existence with others who lack appreciation for the opportunities and are instead filled with anxiety, fear, and envy. At times, the negative things that happen in the world can overshadow and even rob you of your positive words, thoughts, and actions. Think about the topics that many talk about at work – the economy is weak, the company is bad, and the future is glum. While meaning well, these people are limiting their own lives and goals by this approach to life.

We limit our opportunities in life by the language we use

They are limiting their achievements by measuring their opportunities with the physical world that they exist within. They are focusing upon the noise of their outer world which robs them of the peace, quiet, and joy which can lead them to their earthly goals. They are living in a small world, a physical world that holds them in chains and fetters their true Self. Their world may appear to be large, but it is indeed made small by their thoughts, their words, and their actions.

Our inner world is more expansive than our outer world

How can we immerse our Self in the expansiveness of our inner world? There are a number of paths we can focus upon to experience the hidden magic that rests deep within our very souls. In order to put the differences between your spiritual and physical worlds in true perspective, it is key to mediate on a regular basis. Meditating helps you block-out the noise of your outer world and find the peace in your inner world. In this state, you can then experience unlimited space and tranquility which you are able to leverage to achieve the goals that you have set your heart upon.

Meditation opens your metaphysical door to success

As you find quietude, you find the unlimited potential that is innate within your Self. Meditating helps you to relax and see the beauty that exists within you which can be hidden from you when you are not in a peaceful state of being. A positive perspective on life is far better than a negative perspective since this approach attracts additional positive events, people, and circumstances into your life.

The daily news is not the path to fulfillment

Most need to watch the nightly news to help them unwind before slipping off to sleep. I challenge this idea: how can you possibly unwind and enjoy a peaceful sleep when you have just experienced the latest tragedies, human and economic, just before retiring for the evening? It appears to me that watching the negative events that have horrified your city, state, country, or world is not the ideal way to wrap-up a day of your life.

Retire at night with a positive message reverberating in your mind

Rather than watch the nightly news and allow any negative thoughts to occupy your Self while you sleep, pick-up a positive book by some of the greatest authors of our past and present including Neville (The Power of Awareness), Raymond Holliwell (Working with the Law), Ralph Waldo Trine (In Tune with the Infinite), and Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich). After retiring for the evening with the wise words from these renowned authors occupying your sleep time, your Self will have engaged with their words and will have cultivated increased awareness of the true expansiveness and innate possibilities within your inner world.

Subliminal affirmations help you walk down the path to joy

There are also a number of companies that market CD’s which contain subliminal affirmations that can be listened to before or during your sleep time…these are highly effective and once again invoke positive thoughts within our Self instead of the negative images we often decide to close our day with.

Eternal connections manifest from meditating, reading and listening to positive messages

As you are practicing meditation, reading positive books, and listening to silent affirmations, you are creating a profound and eternal connection with the Source. As you build your sacred passageway to the One and with the One, you are developing a greater sense of awareness and alignment with the immense power of the universe and the enormous power within your Self. A deep connection with the Source can only manifest a greater abundance of love, compassion, and understanding which in turn reveals the true expansiveness that is harbored deep within your Self. It is love, compassion, and understanding which unveil the infinite space, the enormous quietude, the inestimable relaxation, and unbounded solitude which are tantamount to experiencing the possibilities that abound within the expansiveness of your inner world.

Your inner world usurps your outer world

Regardless of the number of times you have flown around our Earth; regardless of the number of friends that you have scattered throughout our Earth; and regardless of the number of cultures, food, and languages you have experienced throughout our Earth, these physical manifestations fall short of what awaits you in your inner world.

Your inner potential is limitless when you pursue a divine connection

The potential for your life is limitless when you spend time in deep thought in your inner world. Your inner sanctum holds divine power, divine connection, and divine unity with the Source. This divine trilogy is merely the reflection of your true potential and as such, holds unlimited possibilities for your physical health, your material wealth and your spiritual Self.

“The health you attain, maintain, and sustain is dependent upon the strength of your connection with the benevolent One.”

connection

Separation causes us great harm

We suffer physically, emotionally, and spiritually when we lose or weaken our most sacred connection; the connection to the benevolent Source. However, quantum physics helps us understand that when we change our focus we change our lives.

We are creators not spectators

We are responsible for what manifests in our lives and awareness of this fact brings change to our unpleasant present situation to a wonderful future; this is a cardinal rule of quantum physics.

Anxiety feasts upon our immune system

In the world we live in, we are witnessing immeasurable pressures which are threatening to tear the fabric of humanity apart. As this anxiety is leveled upon members of our society, it manifests attacks upon our immune systems which lead to a wide range of illnesses that ravage our bodies and minds alike.

Focus upon good health and not ill health

All too often, a sick person’s family, friends, and even medical doctors focus upon the illness which only gives the illness strength and fortifies the negative, unhealthy energy against the positive, healthy energy. For example, doctors commonly quote chances of survival from an illness and naturally, patients as well as those who surround the patient listen to the experts’ opinions and accept all prognostications.

Our bodies have natural defense systems in place

Still, our bodies and our minds cannot identify if a threat is real or imaginary. When we feed our minds and bodies messages of trepidation, consternation, and desperation the results are equal to the input; and when we feed our minds and bodies messages of calmness, happiness, and copiousness the results are equal to the input.

Input creates the same energy

However, there are no moral judgments made, our minds and bodies simply react accordingly to the input, whether real or unreal, since our physicality is inseparable from our spirituality. Rather than listening about the evils of sickness, we should be focusing upon the sacred connection that unites these two elements of our Self as a means to attain, maintain, and sustain wellness.

Healers connect the spiritual with the physical world

There are countless studies which have investigated healing and overwhelmingly, it appears that the results of these studies support what the ancients have been telling us all along; each and every one of us is connected by a sacred field or web of energy. At the heart of these various studies is that the healers, regardless if they represent organized religions, Eastern philosophies, or other traditional beliefs such as shamanism, connect the physical world with the spiritual world, the axis mundi, to visualize the ill person enjoying good health. The healer connects with the unwell person, achieves the same vibrational resonance, and resumes the blocked flow of energy which had caused the illness initially.

Our mind’s focus can heal our body

The results of these various studies clearly demonstrate that we are all connected to the identical field of energy and we are then able to heal and be healed by our minds and our focus. There is further proof in that the sacred connection can occur with the sick person in the same room or even more dramatically, from over far distances. Scientific research has proven that remote prayer has helped groups of AIDS patients and others with coronary dis-ease live longer lives.

There are alternatives to traditional medical practices

Once the medical community at large recognizes, accepts, and implements alternatives to the present forms of treatment now accepted by practitioners and patients alike, the sooner we can make huge leaps in correcting our unwell bodies and minds.

Make way for the ‘new medicine’

When this shift occurs, imagine how the ‘new medicine’ will be. The negatives that bombard us will be replaced by the positive. It will focus on reprogramming negative thoughts with positive thoughts; it will focus upon reprogramming negative beliefs with positive beliefs; and it will focus upon reprogramming negative actions with positive actions.

Prescriptions replaced with meditation

Rather than write yet another prescription for the latest wonder drug, medical doctors will write prescriptions to mediate daily, to read positive books, to talk about positive stories and experiences, to look at positive images, and to listen to positive news.

Your mind and body are one…and inseparable

Accept the notion that your mind and your body are inseparable, and as such, your mind controls your spiritual and physical Self. The amount of control you have over your Self is based solely upon the strength of your connection with the Source. Surround your Self with positive energy to live a healthy and happy life.

“What is Plan B?”

whatEarning money on a book he didn’t write

In today’s world, it is unsettling to discover that many are promoting spiritual commercialism as a means to achieve one’s goals in life. Oh, they don’t package and promote it under that moniker, rather, they conceal it under a myriad of claims including working with the Natural Laws to change your life to one of abundance and worldly wealth and fame. Just the other day one guru openly admitted, and proudly sorry to say, that he had earned in excess of $100,000 on a self-help book he didn’t even write. Isn’t there something disturbing about this revelation? Surely, on the visceral level, we understand that their books and their seminars and their DVD’s and their podcasts and their movies have nothing to do with spirituality and enlightenment. Rather, the focus is to funnel money into their bank accounts and not spirituality into our souls.

“So, what is Plan B?”

If we recognize the falsities that abound before us, we must also realize the need to have a plan to find inner peace as well as achieve what we want in life and what the Source rightly provides to and for us. Currently, the collective consciousness focuses upon material wealth, then physical health, and lastly our spiritual Self. If we imagine our life as a three-sided triangle, our lives have been inverted at a great cost of spiritual, emotional, and societal ills for all of humankind. That being said, we need to place our most prized possession, our spirituality as first, our overall health second, and our material wealth last.

Live in the now

Each of us can begin the road to spiritual recovery if we joyfully live in the now,  gratefully accept where we are right now, and genuinely have 100% faith and belief in the Source right now. You see, we must attain our spiritual Self before we can truly gain material wealth that will sustain our lives for the future. If we focus upon bigger homes, shinier cars, and costlier goods at the cost of spirituality, the novelty soon wears off, we become disillusioned and want even bigger and shinier and costlier toys. So to speak, we’re always chasing our tail. Shift your emphasis in life off of material goods and onto spirituality; feel the warmth of the sun, hear the sweet singing of the birds, experience complete peace with your relationship to the Source. Receive inner strength and guidance and the rest will come naturally.

Is it really spirituality?

What is most detrimental to humankind; a doctrine that manipulates the masses for profit and control or spirituality built upon false pretenses in exchange for monetary profits? We must see through this false spirituality and pursue true spirituality to achieve a meaningful, healthy, and prosperous life which goes far beyond expensive or exclusive or exotic goods.
